Chapter 11 || Love? ||

Once Matthew was gone, Anna headed to Julia's house. She knocked on the door and it was opened by Julia's father. He recognised Anna and let her in. Julia was in her room when Anna knocked on the door and entered in. Julia smiled at Anna and Anna said,

"Matthew met mother today"

"Really? What happened then?"

"Mother liked Matthew. So Alice and he are going to get married soon"

"That's such a piece of good news you have told me this morning Anna! Wait right here, let me bring some tea for both of us".

Julia rose from her chair and headed out of the room to the kitchen while Anna sat there. In no time, Julia got tea for both of them and Anna took a sip of her tea from the ceramic teacup and said,

"So, have you told your parents about Bradle-"

Julia closed her mouth and looked behind, quickly at the door, doubtful if someone heard what they were talking about. Anna understood and changed the topic. Soon, they were done with tea and walked to the kitchen to put away their cups to wash. On the way back from the kitchen, Anna encountered Julia's mother.

"Hello, Anna!
It's been a while since we met...how have you         been?"

"I have been fine, Mrs.Smith"

Julia said,

"Mother, Anna and I are going out together. I will be 
back soon"

"Fine dear"

Both of them made their way out of the house. They were walking up the lane when Julia said,

"What were you asking me about then?"

"I was asking if your parents knew about Bradley"

"I didn't tell them..."

"Not yet, why?"

"Anna...I'm just afraid as to whether father will agree about it. You know he is always been very stern and illiberal"

"Why not tell your mother then? She might be able to explain it to your father"

"My father's word is my mother's word. But, I really love Bradley...I feel so helpless now"

Julia seemed to be very disappointed and Anna put her hand over her shoulder and said,

"We will plan something, don't worry. Brad wouldn't like to see you sad"

Julia chuckled and Anna thought for a while and said,

"What if Bradley can tell his parents and they meet your parents?"

"But if my father still won't agree?"

"Julia, Brad is a royal and so are his parents. Nobody will reject a proposal from the royals themselves, will they?"

"This seems to be convincing"

They were still walking and even without one of them realising, they had reached the heart of the village. Anna spotted something at the corner of her eye and said,
