|Cylans POV|
It was a normal day at school and although me and Tara werent practicing today I went to our spot and waited for any sign of that boy from the other day.
I waited for a few minutes before I heard a twig snapped behind me.
"Every time" The boy said.
"Hi!" I said.
"Hey" The boy said.
"So, uhh... who are you?" I asked.
"We never really... introduced ourselves"
".... names rolan, yours?" Rolan asked.
"Cylan, nice to meet you!" I said.
"Yeah..." Rolan said.
"So, do you go to hexside?" I asked.
"No..." Rolan said.
"Then what are you doing here?" I asked.
"Looking for palismen, for the emporer" Rolan said.
"Wait no, I wasnt supposed to say that! You didnt hear that!"
"Umm... alright, didnt hear it" I said.
"So, if you dont go to hexside, which school do you go to?"
"I... I dont really go to school" Rolan said.
"Just work for the emporers coven..."
"Wait! You didnt hear that either!"
"Ok, didnt hear that either" I laughed.
*RIIIIIIIIING*
"I've got to get to class, nice talking to you rolan!" I said.
"Yeah....." Rolan said.
"W- wait! Do- do you think you could maybe bring me some food? I- I havent had any since thursday..."
"Yeah, of course, i'll make sure to get extra" I said.
"Thank you..." Rolan said.
Time skip
"Hey, wheres tara and Y/N?" I asked, sitting next to willow at lunch.
"Tara texted me, they're having some trouble with the emporers coven" Willow said.
"Did she not message you?"
"She might have, my scroll is dead, since- well... I got it" I said.
"Wow..." Willow said.
"..... anyways! I've gotta go" I said.
"You barely ate anything" Willow said.
"No I know im just... not hungry I guess" I said.
"Ok... see you later I guess" Willow said.
I waved good bye and took my lunch outside.
"Rolan!" I whisper-yelled.
"Hey..." Rolan said.
"I brought 2 servings, thought we could eat together" I smiled.
"Oh... thanks" Rolan said.
"So, you said you dont go to school, do you study anything in the emporers coven? Or is it all work?" I asked, sitting down and beginning to eat.
"I thought you said you didnt hear that" Rolan said.
"Ahh, yes, sorry, so, since you dont go to school, do you want to try going to hexside? Its really cool here, you learn lots of stuff!" I asked.
"I mean... maybe? I- I dont think the emporer would let me though..." Rolan said.
"Wait! Not the emporer! You didnt hear that!"
"You're not the best at keeping secrets, are you?" I laughed.
"No..." Rolan said, taking a bite of his sandwhich.
"Eh its alright, neither am I" I said.
Rolan laughed and we ate our lunch, talking and getting to know each other a bit.
"Thank you for the food, I really appreciate it" Rolan said.
"Any time! I can bring some tomorrow if you want!" I said.
"Y- yeah... thank you" Rolan said.
"No problem" I said.
"Well, i've got to get to class, see you tomorrow?"
"Yeah, see you tomorrow" Rolan said.
|Rolans POV|
Cylan got up and went back into the school, I let out a sigh and went back into the forests, looking for palismen.
Time skip
It was getting late, I didnt find any palisman today, I started going back to the palace when I saw a woman at the edge of the forest, I tried to avoid her but she saw me.
"H- hi, what are you doing out so late?" The woman asked.
I stayed silent and ran away.
|Mindy's POV|
The boy I had seen ran away.
"I-... he-... he seems... familiar" I told myself.
'Is it.....? No, it cant be' I thought.
I turned away and flew off, I couldnt shake the familiar feeling I had so I decided to go to our house, luckily, none of the guards were there so I went inside and up to my room.
I looked around for a few moments before I saw a picture book in a box in the closet, I grabbed it and started flipping through it.
Near the end I saw a picture of Reagen when he was about 16 with Eda and Lilith in the background.
My eyes went wide as I realized, that boy in the forest looked exactly like Reagen did in this picture.
"That- that doesnt make any sense....." I said.
I heard commotion from outside, I looked out the window and saw guards walking towards the house.
"Shit" I said, I grabbed the photo and ran out the back door, getting on my staff and flying away.
|Cylans POV|
I got home and started to go upstairs to my room.
"Hey cylan, how was school?" Dad asked.
"It was ok" I said.
"Ok, learn any new spells? Meet anyone new?" Dad asked.
"Umm... yeah actually! I met someone, his name is rolan" I said.
"Oh, is he in your class?" Dad asked.
"Not exactly" I said.
"Oh ok, wanna tell me about him?" Dad asked.
"Nah, im kinda tired" I said.
"Alright, i'll see you tomorrow, goodnight" Dad smiled.
"Night dad" I said, running upstairs.
|3rd person POV|
"Alright, hes gone" Cylans dad said.
"Thanks morrow" Mindy said.
"So, what were you saying about this kid?" Morrow asked.
"He... he looked exactly like reagen did, I know they're a myth, but do you think he could be a....." Mindy asked.
"Mindy, just because you saw a boy that closely resembles someone doesnt mean they're a.... you know" Morrow said.
"I know but... even the scar is in the right place, hes like a.... a copy...." Mindy said.
"Mindy, what your thinking, they dont exist, im an engineer, that kind of magic just isnt possible" Morrow said.
"Should we ask alador? I mean, he is your boss" Mindy said.
"Very funny, and no, im telling you mindy," Morrow looked around to make sure no one was listening.
"Grimwalkers, do not, exist"
