|Hunters POV|

I woke up and found that Y/N and Tara were no where to be found, Y/N's mom, was sitting reading a book on..... ehh I cant read the title.

"Mmmm" I groaned as I sat up.

"Hunter! You're awake!" Ms. Clawthorne said.

"Uhh, yeah I guess, wheres Y/N?" I asked.

"He and Tara are at school" Ms. Clawthorne said.

"Oh ok.... WAIT! WHAT?!" I asked.
"I- I missed school?! What time is it?! Oh no i've got to get going"

"Dont worry, just take the day off, you deserve some rest, plus, its halfway through the day it wouldnt mstter if you show up now" Ms. Clawthorne said.

"I slept the entire day?" I asked.

"Yep" Ms. Clawthorne said.

"Oh..." I said.

*Chirp chirp*

"Oh hey flapjack" I said.

I pat flapjacks head a little bit and stood up.

'I just realized I have absolutely nothing to do' I thought.

"You ok?" Ms. Clawthorne asked.

"Yeah I just.... I dont really know what to do, I dont have any work to do, or school" I said.

"Wanna talk?" Ms. Clawthorne asked.

I shrugged and sat next to her.

"What are you reading?" I asked.

"A book on grimwalkers" Ms. Clawthorne said.

"Grimwalkers? Arent they a myth?" I asked.

"Probably, but, I-.... I saw someone.... the other day and I-.... they look familiar.... too familiar" Ms. Clawthorne said.

"So you think they're a grimwalker? Of who?" I asked.

"....... reagen" Ms. Clawthorne said.

"Reagen..... Y/N's dad right?..... w- why do you think that?" I asked.

"They looked exactly like this picture, here" Ms. Clawthorne said, showing me a picture of reagen when he was younger.

"Hmm.... wait, where did you see them?" I asked.

"In the forest near hexside" Ms. Clawthorne said.

"Near hexside?" I asked.

"Yeah, why?" Ms. Clawthorne asked.

"Well, if he was near hexside once, whos to say he wont go there again? Maybe you can talk to him?" I asked.

"You're right.... maybe I can find out where he came from, o- or if he knows hes a grimwalker" Ms. Clawthorne said.

"If he actually is a grimwalker" I chuckled.

"Yeah yeah whatever" Ms. Clawthorne said, standing up.
"Well, come on! Lets go find him!"

"Oh, ok" I said.

Time skip

"Ugh, where is he?" Ms. Clawthorne asked.

"I dont know.... wait! Is that him?" I asked, pointing to someone talking in the forest.

"It looks like him" Ms. Clawthorne said.
"Come on, lets go talk to him"

"Wait, it looks like hes talking to someone, lets let him finish" I said.

"Ugh, fine" Ms. Clawthorne said.
