Greg was done at the office and headed home. His phone begins to ring.
"Who is this," Greg answered
"Your sister," she said
"Ronda, what do want?" He asked
"Are you coming home for Thanksgiving?" she asked
"Told y'all I'm never coming back. Get that threw yall head" he said
"We family. You my baby bother" she said
"Okay and." He said
"Look I know I haven't been the big sister you hope for. But I'm changing Greg" Ronda said
"Well show me," he said hanging up
He loved his sister dearly but she was hard to believe. He pulled up not seeing Maya's car. He pulled out his phone and called her.
"Where you at?" He inquired of
"At the shop. Something happened" she said beginning to cry..
"I'll be there," he said speeding off.
He pulled up 30 minutes later seeing her shop has been broken into and shit missing. Maya was crying hard. Greg walked over to her hugging her.
"Aye Tina. You know who did this?" He asked
"No. I pulled up to check on things and it was like this. Nobody bothered to call or anything." Tina said
"Was the shop open today?" He asked
"Yeah. Kim closed up she said 3 hours ago" She said
Greg looked down at Maya who was just not up for anything.
"Get in the car baby," he said
Maya walked to the car getting in. Greg went inside the shop to see if anything was missing or if somebody left something behind. Tina joined him.
"Greg I don't know who could have done this," Tina said becoming worried.
"I'll find out for sure. I just need to know if anything missing" he said
"Well, I know they went back into her office where she keeps all her money for bills," Tina said
Greg and Tina walk to the back seeing the safe was broken open taking everything..
"OH no. She went be hurt." Tina said
"Fuck the money. She can get that back from me. Is there anything important (besides money) that's missing?" He asked
"No, I don't see anything important gone. Just the money" she said
They walked out seeing Maya making a report to the cops.
"So you do not know who would try to break into your place of business," the officer said
"No sir. I just told you that" she said
