3 days later Grace left the Bahamas to go to Chicago. She was ready to go get the rest of her things from Tevin. She didn't want to fight with him over the little things that she had at the house. She didn't let anybody know she was going over there. She already texted Tevin telling him she was coming to get her thing.
Grace pulled up outside the house looking at where she used to be and how her life was about to change. She gets out and walks into the house. It was quiet like nobody was there. She walks upstairs into her bedroom grabbing everything she owns.
Tevin walks into the bedroom scaring Grace.
"Fuck Tevin. You scared me" Grace said
Tevin ain't say nothing just continue to drink his liquor
"I texted you already and said I coming to get the rest of my stuff. " Grace said still grabbing everything that was hers
Tevun grabbed Grace by her hair dragging her down the hallway.
"I told you what I'll do to you,u," Tevin said
He pulled her into the bathroom shutting the door. He punched her in the face.
"Tevin please," Grace said guarding her face.
Tevin begins to throw blow after blow.
"TEVIN STOP" Grace yelled.
Tevin began to kick her in her side making her grab her ribs. He punched her in the nose making her bleed. He pulled a gun out of the back of his pocket pointing it at Grace
"It's been 2 months Grace. I've been thinking if I can't have nobody can" Tevin said
"Tevin my kids don't do this please," Grace said leaking from the mouth and nose
Tevin hit her with the gun on the side of her head
"Shut up," Tevin said
Grace tried to get up but the pain in her side was unbearable
"Why? " Grace cried out.
"They are my kids Grace. Then you just leave because of a boy you just met" Tevin said
"He's my son," Grace said
Tevin hit Grace again in her face.
"Your son. Well, what about ours? " Tevin said
"Ryan my son too. And I'll protect him from you" Grace said
Tevin walked around in circles thinking taking shot after shot. He pointed the gun at Grace letting off a shot hitting her in the shoulder.
Grace looked in shock staring at Tevin who just didn't have a care in the world.
Tevin pointed the gun at Grave again letting off another shot.
BOOM!!!!!
Back at the house in the Bahamas
Maya's phone began to ring.
"Yes, Monica? " Maya answered
"You seen Mom this morning? " Monica asked
"No she was with you," Maya said
"Well, she ain't here. She must have left out. I tried calling her phone went straight to voicemail" Monica said getting worried
"Monica calm I'll be up there," Maya said hanging up.
"What's wrong? " Greg asked
"Ma missing," Maya said putting on her shoes
Maya called Mason
"Yo," Mason said
"Have you talked to Mom? " Maya said
"No. Why? " Mason asked
"Monica doesn't know where she is and her phone going to voice mail," Maya said
Maya went to her bedroom and opened the door.
"Anything? " Maya asked
"No. She said" On the phone with Ryan
"What's he saying? " Maya asked hearing Ryan on the phone
Ryan had to go home for work and Tina went with him making it back hours before Grace did..
"He at dads now. His car is there but he ain't answering the door. " Monica said

At Grace and Tevin's house
Ryan walked to the back seeing the window open. He climbed in almost tripling over a cup.
"Fuck" Ryan said
"You okay? " Monica asked
"Yeah," Ryan said
Walking threw the house downstairs everything still looks the same. He hasn't been back since the last time everyone got into it. He walks upstairs looking threw his room and Monica's room. Still the same. He walks towards the bathroom. He opened the door seeing blood everywhere.
"What the fuck" Ryan said under his breath
"What? " Monica asked
"Blood everywhere," Ryan said becoming scared
"WHAT? " Monica said about to start crying
"What the fuck" Ryan keeps saying
"I'm coming," Monica said hanging up and packing her bags.
Greg got her the first flight back.
Ryan went to his parent's room and found a duffle bag with female clothes in it. Now he knows his mother was here. Tevin would never touch Grace's clothes. Ryan puts his hands on his head sitting down on the ned beginning to think.
