Isabella's P.O.V.

I walked over to where the others were. They shrunk back, away from me, except my pack. I curse at myself. Great, now everyone is afraid of me. That was not what I needed. Carson clears his throat and orders,

"We need to account for the dead and potentially missing. Call your packs, get some trusted people here. We need to find whoever is responsible. They must have a leader." I add,

"There is a chance the Alpha of the Thunder Mane pack was involved. I did not see him the entire night and the way I know him there must be a good reason from missing." Everyone nods and we disperse. I am sent to the hospital wing because I was injured in my fights, but I had not felt it because of the adrenaline rush. I was surrounded by injured warriors, and I talked to them. I asked one,

"How did you get hurt?" He answered,

"A damn rogue jumped on me and left me for dead. An Alpha came and dragged me back here. I owe him my life." I smile at him,

"Who was it?"

"Alpha Carson." My mouth hanged open. Carson, saving a warrior from another pack, well, that's unheard of. The warrior was smiling at my reaction and added,

"You have a really good influence on him." With that, he turned around. That wasn't even the most shocking conversation I had. With a injured Luna this time. She asked me,

"How do you do it?" I looked at her, confused,

"How do I do what?"

"You mean you don't realize." I continued staring at her confused,

"Nope. What do you mean?"

"Oh, well. Didn't you notice that the rogues were killing everyone but you? I mean they especially targeted the lunas. You were the sole exception. It was like they didn't want to kill you. I mean, everyone felt sort of protective of you. It's your aura. You manage to frustrate everyone, yet there is not a wolf on this planet who would not give up his life to save yours." I stared mouthed open as she continued,

"There is something about you. Well, don't listen to me, I am probably imagining things." She smiled at me and then walked to her Alpha. I mean what the fuck! Even so, everything was going okay. I was cooperating with the doctors, something that doesn't happen a lot.

Until a feeling of grief and anger invaded the pack bond. I jumped up much to the dismay of my doctors and ran out. I needed to find the source of the problem. It was not a death experience, but still. The moment I was out of the hospital wing, I saw a circle of people around Elina. I shoved past them to get to her. I asked her,

"What's wrong?" She stuttered, tears streaming down her face,

"I-I can't f-find h-him. H-he is g-gone..."

"Who, Elina? I need a name to help."

"A-alex." Shit, shit shit! Everyone around me looks just as shocked. I quickly ordered,

"Get the Alphas to meet in the main hall in five minutes! Now!" People dispersed to follow my orders. I was not quite as mad as I was when Elina was hurt. But I am still pretty furious. They took an Alpha, the mate of one of my pack. I was going to find him no matter what. I cradled a sobbing Elina in my arms, picking her up to bring to the main hall. I knew that soon her grief will turn to anger. I was last to arrive at the meeting point. How funny that the Alphas all listened! I informed them of the situation,

"Alpha Alex has been taken." This causes them to gasp in shock. I mean Alex is the Alpha of the second strongest pack in North America. How could he have been taken! Carson starts,

"Alex was most likely taken when Elina was still weak. If they caught him off guard, still recovering from Elina's near death, it could have been easier. When was the last time we saw him?" Aiden (Sam's mate) volunteers some information,

"We all saw him at Elina's side until Luna Isabella's spree. At that point, everyone became distracted." Christopher (Emma's mate) adds,

"I saw him walk off while Luna Isabella was fighting. He said that he had to blow off some steam. At that point, there were doctors tending Elina, but they were male. I assumed that it was hard to control his wolf when some unmated males were touching his helpless mate." Jason comments,

"Elina must have searched everywhere before breaking down. Her wolf would have made her." I sigh. I wished it had not come to this, that it was all a huge mistake. I announce,

"So, it's official, Alex is missing!"
