Taylor's POV

Time flies. Sometime's that's true. Sometime not.

Depending on your situation, I believe.

And in my situation? Yes. It does fly. Fast.

We're now on our last week then...

Tada!!

Graduation.

But that's not why I said time flies. It's because of Katie's birthday. The day after tomorrow. And I still hasn't bought a gift for her...

Taylor, why not buy now?

It's because we have a date today. Whole day. How can I buy her a gift when she'll be with me the whole day today?!

You probably think that it's too long for a date, but that's 'normal' for us. It's not like we will spend out entire day in one location, we will go wherever we want. And we're already in my car. I'm driving. While she is seating beside me while humming with the song in the radio.

I tried to listen, but I really don't know the song. Then Bam! (We didn't get into a car accident, I just got an idea...)

"Katie do you want to go to the mall?"

"Uhm. Yeah. Sure. What are we going to do there?"

"Nothing. Just, you know? Chill there?"

"Chill? In the mall? Really? How can you do that with a lot of people roaming and chitchating around you? It's too loud there. If you want to chill, let's just go to the park."

"No no no no!! I need to buy something too. It's not like we have to go there now. We'll go to the park first, then the museum, then the mall, and lastly the beach. How about that?"

"Okay? That's alright."

"Okay." I said then sighed in relief...

At the mall...

I'm planning to buy whatever she said that she wants. It's her 18th birthday anyways!

And I'm not planning to buy the items immediately. I'm going to take notes what they are and where I can buy them. And maybe take a picture of it secretly, so I'll not mistook it to other items. Then buy and wrap them tomorrow. I'll put an effort. I'll wrap them myself.

But Oh boy... she wants A LOT.

Luckily, she's not buying any of those. If you think of it, she's just as rich as me, we're in the same school anyways, or maybe more they're more rich than my family. But for some reason, she's not buying any of the things that she said she likes.

It's obvious. And it'll be suspicious if I don't ask so...

"Why aren't you buying anything?"

"I'm saving my money for a car."

"Why not just ask for your parents for that?"

Then she looked at me like saying 'wtf are you serious?' While raising an eyebrow.

I raised my hand then, "just sayin'. I didn't meant any harm"

"I'm not like that. And I don't want to be like that. They're giving me allowance. More than enough for a 17-year-old should have, if I might add. That money is just for me to keep and save if I want to buy something for myself."

Meh. She'll be a great mother for our children.

^_^

Woah. What did I just said?
