Leprechaun

Carly's POV
"Who the hell thought that it would be a great idea to bring a leprechaun to a Christmas Party!?" Leo was asking loudly to his Mom's secretary on the phone

"I don't know sir but Julietta said that one of the employees brought a leprechaun statue as an exchange gift"

I tried to hold my laughter as the puzzled look on Leo's face just got more confused, he looked at me and mouthed "What the f*ck?"

To explain the situation in full detail I am in the waiting room of the boutique where me and Mom's dress was tailored, it turns out my entire family was invited to the Christmas Part Ball. Leo decided to accompany us and was also sitting beside me in the waiting room as we wait for Mom to come out wearing her dress

Leo got a call from his secretary and it was an urgent call because one of the employees brought a huge leprechaun statue that is made from clay and it was supposed to be an exchange gift, we both looked at each other with confusion at first and thought that he was joking but it turns out he was not

He even took a picture and may I remind you, Leo told me that their secretary is taller than him and he was 6'6. The leprechaun reached the secretary's shoulder, so we got the news that the person that he was supposed to give the leprechaun as an exchange gift loves leprechauns and was a fan of the theme

"Leprechaun core" I mumbled before cackling out loud that I have to cover my mouth while laughing to smuggle the sounds

Just the thought of people going to style like a leprechaun cannot be not funny, I mean there is even a mustache trend so why there isn't going to be a beard trend once the leprechaun core trend is in. There would be people wearing green and having a top hat walking everywhere

I must have been cackling too loud even with my hand covering my mouth because Leo has to pull my hoodie down to cover my face and try to lessen the sound, Mom is always the person complaining that I still wear hoodies even though I already have a boyfriend and the blue hair is not that much to other people

Yes, I know that but I attract unwanted attention and judgy eyes of other people who walk by me, it's hard to concentrate on your business when someone is watching you like a CCTV camera

He ended the call and gave me the dead ass eye look "You have the loudest cackle like a witch that I can't help but put a handkerchief in your mouth Carly"

"But you still love me right?" I pointed to myself and he nodded "I love you as a person who can have a medium sound laugh when I'm on the call with other people cause damn we could only have a limit of how loud our call could be" he pinched my nose lightly

I batted my eyelash at him "Aww"

I was supposed to have a relaxing time to spend with Mom and Leo here at the boutique but the eyes of all the female employees are all glued to Leo who is only looking either at me, my Mom, or his phone

Some of them tried to flirt with him but it felt more like they were flirting with a wall, no reaction was given, and no movement can be seen when he is around them. They were still persistent though, I could feel one certain female employee who was glaring daggers at the side of my face

I don't know the girl nor did I have even see her when I enter here but she has eyes for Leo and was seeing me as an obstacle, she has her arms crossed and has a resting b*tch face at me. I ate up my 'Kendi' which is the whole reason why I am here now with Leo

I gave some to Leo to his mouth and he accepted it, they could only stare from afar

Leo's POV
I have this weird feeling that something is not right in the boutique, Carly looks a bit annoyed at someone so I turned my head and there was this girl that was giving her a resting b*tch face with a glare. She was not telling me and kept being silent about it but I know she is being uncomfortable

The moment the girl realized that I was staring at her she changed her entire face to that sweet manager, I don't want to cause a ruckus in her because of a girl so I put an arm around Carly and pulled her to me. If the female employees are looking at me, the male employees are gawking at her

They were working yet they kept turning their heads to look at her, every time they passed by her they would ask her if she needs anything and she would politely decline. Can't lie I hate their gaze at her

The curtain in front of us opened to reveal her Mom in a classy dress and Carly gave her Mom a breathtaking smile, they talked for a minute about the fitting of the dress before it was Carly's turn to put on the dress they made for her

Brooke sat beside me and was getting her phone ready, I even got my phone ready to take a lot of pictures of her. It took a while before the curtains open but it was worth it, she looked pretty

The dress fitted the theme of Christmas

It also suited her well, I didn't waste a minute and I did take a lot of photos of her like she is in a photoshoot

Brooke's POV
Leo was going all out in taking my daughters photos, Carly was a bit shy that she was getting too much attention in the boutique but I was having a blast watching her being out of her comfort zone

Although I feel like there is this feeling in my gut that I can't seem to shake it off as if it's not going away anytime soon
