Deal gone bad

[ this is not lesbian continent but I wanted to write this thank you for reading]

Have you ever had a group of people you work with treat you like crap for a year & after all the heard work you put in nothing come back to you in return

Well let me tell you

"I'm done" I say walking up to a team member on mine

This brings in a lot of wandering ears to listen in

"What do you mean your done

We haven't even started the deal" he said putting his papers down on his deck

"No I'm done with all this bullshit of a team we have here

Ever since I started I never go anything in return" I say getting loud by the minute

"What do you mean

You get paid the same amount like everyone else" he said making me laugh

"Wow if you really think that

I've never got an ounce of that bullshit money your talking about

The only time I do I to barley pay for my rest & bill

I've been here for the team since day 1

Stay behind after hours by the way making sure everything that you all do is actually done

That is far from everything else that I've been put through

Do you know what hurts the most

I've never been given a complement for my work

While all of you do that for each other if is like I'm not even here

Like I'm a gost doing all your heavy lifting for the past fucking year

Don't even get me started on how many runs you all made me do with no help at all" I say with anger shown all over my face

Well I can say he go the message, but too late

I got all my stuff & left that office not looking back

A day later I got a new job working for the company that we were trying to out do

They gave me the respect I deserve & in return I made them shine

A month later I kept on getting emails & calls from my own team which I blocked so many time

I even had to get a new phone since is was bugging me

I told my work about it soon I was the head of the meeting facing off with the people that took me for shit

"Well hello again my old team

This must be really awkward for you right now" I say with a smile on my face sitting down at the head of the table

"What do you mean

I thought we were making a deal" 1 of them said which made me laugh

"No we aren't sorry I'm just here to inform you all since you didn't respect me when I was working with you

I took the liberty on thing this amazing company about everything

Oh they took everything over by the way & made it so much better

& before you say anything

You all didn't read the fine print on the contract that I made back when "we" started all of this"

They got so made, but couldn't say shit

I walked out of there with a smile on my face knowing I finally putting my foot down
