                                 - Chapter twelve -

"Hello Abigail!"

Abby immediately left the call scanning her surroundings, looking for anybody that was on their phones. To her surprise nobody was on the streets.

The unknown number rang again and Abby lets curiosity get the better of her, "What the fuck do you want?" Abby hissed at the caller.

"I want to play a little game." said the voice. "Have you ever played the game tag?"

"Fuck this shit!" Abby said as she went to leave the call once again, but before she could the sinister voice yelled to her," Hang up and lover boy dies."

"Fuck you" Abby said as tears of fear for her boyfriend poured down her eyes.

"I'll give you ten seconds to run and after that who knows you might die you might live, that's up to you!" The voice told her the rules and Abby was shaking in fear analyzing all the directions she could go in.

"Run!" The voice whispered before he hung up. As he did so Abby ran down the street as fast as she could.

When she reached the end of the third road she ran down, a large weight jumped on top of her making her fall to the concrete ground. Abby let out a loud scream before she was pushed in the nearby alley.

The killer placed his hand over her mouth so she couldn't scream. The killer raised Abby's body upwards making both her feet lift up off the floor.

"Tag, you're it!" The killer said as he plunged the knife into the bottom of Abby's stomach.

The pain was manageable but Abby knew that if she didn't get out she wouldn't survive. She raised her elevated feet and kicked them into the stomach of her attacker.

He fell backwards as Abby fell to the floor, "Eat shit!" She yelled before running in a random direction.

Abby had ran into an alley where she hid behind a large green dumpster. Unsure what to do she rang Ethan.

"Hey" The boy said, it gave Abby a tiny bit of comfort hearing the boys voice but ultimately struck a great deal of sadness as this could be the last time she heard the boy's voice.

"Abby are you okay?" The boy said after Abby's silent reply.

"He's here Ethan, he stabbed me, i'm sorry I should've listened to you." Abby said crying down the phone to the boy she loved.

"Send me your location, NOW!" Ethan yelled. As Abby did so she noticed the blood from her wound covering her phone making it difficult for her to send Ethan her location.

"Everything is going to be fine" Ethan reusered the girl.

Abby then heard the sinister voice return saying, "You can run Abigail, but you can't hide!" Abby knew she didn't have long before the killer found her and she knew that if she ran it would be easier for the killer to get her so she remained behind the dumpster.

"I love you Ethan" Abby whispered into the phone not sure whether the boy heard.

The girl ended the call as she heard the sharp sound of the metal knife trace the brick wall beside the dumpster Abby was hidden behind.

Uncountable tears fell, but Abby covered her mouth trying to remain silent. "This was it, i'm about to die" Abby thought to herself.

"ABBY!" The familiar sound of Ethan's voice sparked a hope in Abby.

As the voice became clearer and louder she heard the killers footsteps run in the opposite direction Ethan was coming from.

"Abby" the boy said uncertain that the girl he loved could be dead.

Abby rose from behind the bin sobbing whilst holding her wound. She collapsed Ethan's arms, not because of the pain because the fear had left her unable to walk.

Ethan sat on the floor pulling Abby's head close to his chest. He then whispered, "I love you too" In Abby's ear letting her know that he had heard her declaration and reciprocating it.
