"Sister Lili, I have no idea who had been spreading rumors about it. That's despicable." Yeri told Lisa what she had heard.

Lisa had on a light lotus color dress today and it made her look fairer. The smooth material was not as smooth as her skin.

Her black and shiny hair was tied up loosely. The tips of her hair curling slightly and cascaded down naturally over her shoulders, making her features looked even more delicate and bright.

Yeri had always thought of herself as a beautiful woman but, now that she was sitting with Lisa side by side, her look that she had always been proud of was crushed, her skin tone was unmentionable when compared to Lisa's. Even her body, when compared to Lisa, looked like she was underdeveloped.

Lisa was beautiful all over and Yeri must admit to that.

She wondered what idiot spread the rumor that Lisa was ugly. If Lisa was ugly, then there were no pretty people in this world.

"It doesn't matter what kind of rumors that they are spreading. The rumors will be gone after they have seen me at the banquet tomorrow." Lisa never cared about these rumors.

Yeri could see that Lisa was really cool about it and not just faking it. If it was her, Yeri felt that she would go ballistic and must find out who was behind it.

Yeri truly looked up to Lisa.

As they spoke, the butler came inside with some workers. "Miss, these are the newest jewelries from this season. Take a look and see if you like any of them.

"These are custom made eveKim gowns that the studio worked overtime to complete for you and then we have shoes and purses from this current season. See if you like any of them, Miss. If you don't like any of them, I'll have them send over more."

Lisa nodded, "Okay. Thank you, Uncle Jiang."

Yeri was very envious when she saw that. These were all from top-of-the-line designers. Not even just anyone with money could get their hands on them. Even some celebrities wouldn't even know where to start contacting these designers. Even for herself, Yeri could at most had one opportunity a year herself.

Now they were all handed over to Lisa for her to choose and, if she didn't like them, be presented with a new batch.

Yeri looked over at the jewelries that the workers were carrying in their hands. Any one of them looked to be a valuable collectible and, now, they were all Lisa's.

Even so, they were just a tip of the iceberg, er, not even that, of the Kim's.

The entire Kim family's fortune could last Lisa three lifetimes and then some.

It was no wondered that others were already envious of Lisa and started spreading rumors about her as soon as she had returned.

"Big Sister Lili, you mentioned that you are married the other day. Will your husband attend the banquet?" Yeri was somewhat curious.

Lisa shook her head. "He's in City B. He wouldn't be able to make it."

Yeri felt a little regretful. She had wanted to see what kind of man would be good enough for Lisa.

Over at the Jeon's.

"There are already words on the internet that the Kim family will be hosting a banquet to celebrate Second Young Mistress's return."

"It looks like the Kim's values Second Young Mistress a lot and that Old Mr. Kim only has this one granddaughter. I think Second Young Mistress will be the sole heir of the Kim's fortune."

"Totally. Now that Second Young Mistress is pretty and rich, I'm sure many have her on their target list."

"So what? She's already married to our Second Young Master."

"Are you stupid? Now that Second Young Mistress has money and status, you think she will still want to stay with Second Young Master?" said the maid in a low voice. "We all know the situation with Second Young Master. Will you want him to be your husband if you are rich?"

"Do you think the two will get a divorce?"

"Have you not seen how Old Mr. Kim looked at our Second Young Master the other day? He was obviously displeased with him. Second Young Master is rich and good looking but what so?"

"Yeah, you are probably right. He doesn't talk much all day long and just does his own thing. The purpose of getting married is to be doted upon. Who would want to spend their lives day in and day out with a wood stump? Besides, what kind of men stay home all day long and do nothing? It was lucky that Second Young Master was born to a good family."
