To one side, Eunha and Mingyu, too, were present for the banquet. It was, after all, their grandmother's birthday, and they must be there.

Eunha, however, regretted not faking illness and staying at home. Mother Jeon had told Grandma Song about how she had tried to set Jungkook up, and Grandma Song scolded her in front of everyone, attracting many to watch the drama unfold.

After Grandma Song scolded her, she never gave her a happy look after that.

Eunha was completely ignored. She sat there to one side quietly. If it wasn't that her skin was thick enough now and that she was much better at withstanding pressure, she would definitely wish to take off early from the banquet.

It was then when she saw Lisa walking in a pretty way and attracted almost everyone's attention. Eunha was so jealous that her chest hurt.

"How come you got here so late? Hurry up and sit over here with Grandma." Old Mrs. Lee looked very loving when she saw her grandson and granddaughter-in-law.

"There was a little traffic on our way." Lisa greeted Grandma with a smile and handed her her birthday gift.

She then looked over at Jungkook by her side.

Jungkook pinched his lips shut a little, and meeting the anticipating look on Grandma, said slowly, "Happy birthday, Grandma."

Old Mrs. Lee was taken aback a little at first, then her heart was filled with joy. "Good boy. You now know how to congratulate me."

Old Mrs. Lee looked over at Lisa. Last time she saw this granddaughter-in-law was when Lisa had just married into the Jeon's.

Back then, Lisa was dull, dispirited, and not all that pretty. The Lisa now, on the other hand, had lively eyes and an outgoing personality. She had changed completely and had become very pretty.

Old Mrs. Lee likes the current Lisa.

Looking at Lisa's face, she suddenly felt a familiarity. She seemed to have seen her somewhere before.

Lisa wasn't nervous about being studied by Grandma. Grandma was already half-conscious at the time, and so many years had passed since her episode. She was certain that Grandma had forgotten all about it already.

Old Mrs. Lee grabbed Lisa's hand that was resting on her thighs. "You should come over more, chat with me, and keep me company in the future."

Old Mrs. Lee's fondness toward Lisa was very obvious.

Even Old Mrs. Lee couldn't explain why she had such fondness toward her granddaughter-in-law. The more she looked at her, the fonder she was of her. She even felt that Lisa was very pretty and a perfect match for Jungkook.

Her standing next to Jungkook made Grandma Song happy just looking at the two of them together.

Grandma Song talked non-stop with Lisa, and all the topics were all about Jungkook. Others could tell how much the old lady liked the two of them.

Mingyu, sitting not too far away in his black suit, was no longer that young and impulsive self who would act upon a little bit of jealousy.

He was steady, handsome, and eye-catching. In fact, many felt regretful that he had married Eunha.

After all, Eunha was too plain now. Her look was decent, at most, her character questionable, and her family background just alright. No matter how much they looked at it, nobody had any idea why Mingyu married her.

Lisa noticed belatedly that Eunha was there. Seeing Eunha reminded her that she still had a 2% halo that she hadn't taken back from her.

Channeling her wickedness, Lisa exchanged two little suns for the remaining 2% immediately.

She looked at Eunha with anticipation.

The second the exchange was complete, Lisa saw that a server carrying the serving tray slipped. His body tilted, and all the wine fell on the tray dousing Eunha instantly.

Red wine poured all over her, ruining her white dress.

"Oh!" Eunha was about to lose it. Red wine came flowing down from her head and dripping all over her face and her clothes. She looked like a mess.

"Do you not have eyes, or did you do that on purpose?" Eunha was so angry that she stood up and pointed her finger straight at the server, yelling at him in accusation.

Her once melodious voice turned hoarse, and with her anger, it seemed like a banshee was screeching into one's ears.

Lisa wasn't surprised by the change. This was Eunha's original voice. She learned that the remaining 2% halo involved not just the smoothing out of the voice but also luck.

Eunha was able to live like a salted koi fish with the halo before.

Now that she had lost the halo, she had entirely returned to her original self.

Lisa saw that the jade around Eunha's neck cracked into two halves, fell onto the floor, and shattered.
