246.He had spent all day thinking about her. (1)

The next day, sunlight cast down on the patio, and a light breeze lifted up the light-colored curtain gently. It was quiet and peaceful inside the room.

When Lisa woke up, she saw that Jungkook had already finished getting ready and was changing.

He was carrying a floral shirt in his hand and was about to change into it.

Lisa quickly got up and walked over to him. She wooed him with a smile. "You are going to the office today. You don't need to look so handsome."

Jungkook looked at her with his pitch-black eyes blankly.

Lisa pulled a red shirt out from his closet. It was made out of smooth, high-quality silk.

Lisa lied through her teeth without so much as blinking her eyes. "Put this one on. You look too handsome in your floral shirts. I worry that others would fall for you at the office and take you away from me. That will break my heart."

The tip of Jungkook's ears was red. His thin eyelids shuddered, and he said in a definitive tone, "No take away me."

He glanced over at Lisa quickly and said, "Lili's. No take away."

He belongs to Lili, and nobody can take him away from her.

Lisa burst out laughing at what he said. Jungkook was super sweet today.

"Then you put this one on. Leave that one in your hand to wear only at home." Lisa blinked at him. "So only I can see it."

Jungkook's lips curved up some, and his dimples showed. He nodded and repeated Lisa's words, "Only Lili can see."

Lisa felt that it got easier and easier to woo Jungkook. She couldn't help but pinch him on his cheek and said, "Work hard today. Text me if you need anything."

She needed to go to school today and couldn't tag along with Jungkook to his office.

Jungkook acknowledged her. "Make money. Support Lili."

He, too, could support Lili.

What Jungkook didn't know was that the dividends that he received every year were more than enough money for Lisa to spend for the rest of her life.

After breakfast, Taehyun, Jungkook's old assistant, had already arrived at the Jeon's.

Taehyun and Jungkook went to university together, and in addition, Taehyun minored in psychology. He had a lot of experience working with people with autism and had assisted Jungkook in the past. Mother Jeon felt much better with him by Jungkook's side.

"Young Master Jeon looks like he's in good spirits today." Taehyun was not surprised when he saw Jungkook in his red clothes. "Good morning, Miss Ning."

"Good morning, Assistant Kang." Lisa noticed that Taehyun liked to smile a lot, and his smile was infectious. Lisa started to see why Taehyun was Jungkook's assistant, and she hoped that Jungkook would become more outgoing under Taehyun's influence. "Please take care of Jungkook."

"Not a child. No need to take care," said Jungkook with his lips pinched.

He was not a child and did not need others to take care of him.

Lisa didn't know what to make of that. "Alright. I'll see you tonight then." She straightened out the collar for Jungkook.

Jungkook's pitch-black eyes looked over at Lisa. He looked for a few seconds before he turned away and then looked again. He looked at her back and forth a few times.

He wouldn't be able to see Lili for a whole day. He needed to see more of her now.

Jungkook had worked at his company's artificial intelligence research laboratory for a period of time before his condition had worsened.

The team was familiar with Jungkook. Many were happy that Jungkook would be returning to work for the simple reason that he was quiet and competent. Him being there was like adding a cheat to their work.

"Young Master Jungkook, we had your office remodeled recently, so we will have to ask you to sit with us for the time being," said Taehyun to Jungkook.

"Mmm." Jungkook had a cold expression on his face, and he appeared to be high and mighty when he was not talking.

It was not the first time Jungkook was working here, and many of those who were familiar with him came over to greet him.
