The marital contract between Lisa and Jungkook was negotiated between Lisa's aunt and Mother Jeon. Mother Jeon wanted Lisa to marry Jungkook but also gave her an out. The Jeon family would let Lisa go if Lisa still wasn't into Jungkook after two years.

Nevertheless, Lisa's aunt had her own idea. She wanted Lisa to stay and continue their relationship with the Jeon family. As such, she did not tell this to Lisa and even had an agreement with Mother Jeon to only tell Lisa after two years.

Lisa only found out about it just now when she heard it from Old Mr. Kim.

Jungkook, sitting next to them, heard Old Mr. Kim bring up matters between himself and Lisa, so he sat up straight and listened to the conversation quietly.

He heard Old Mr. Kim ask Lisa, "With such a contract, it makes things between Jungkook and you much simpler. Grandpa wants to ask you. Do you want to divorce Jungkook and get out of the Jeon family?"

Jungkook understood what Old Mr. Kim was saying. Grandpa was asking whether Lili wanted to divorce him.

His pretty cherry-blossom eyes became anxious. He looked over at Lisa next to him, and there was a hint of panic in his low and hoarse voice. "No divorce. No divorce."

Lili was his. There could be no divorce.

Lisa was taken aback a little. She did not expect Grandpa to ask her such a question.

Turning, she looked into Jungkook's pitch-black eyes. She saw fear and panic in his eyes.

"Lili no leave me." Jungkook was looking at her longingly.

Lisa chuckled softly, and her eyes were filled with smiles. "Right, no divorce."

She said firmly to Old Mr. Kim, "Grandpa, Jungkook and I are a couple. I like him, and I am not going to divorce him. I have no need for that marital contract."

Old Mr. Kim studied his granddaughter and Jungkook sharply before he asked slowly, "Are you certain about that?"

Lisa nodded. "I am very certain about the fact that I am fond of Jungkook."

Jungkook protected her with his life. It would be difficult for her to not like him.

She only wanted to treasure such a person now that she had run into one.

Next to her, the panic in Jungkook's eyes disappeared and was slowly replaced with light. He looked at Lisa, dazed.

There was joy on his brows and in his eyes. He liked Lili, and Lili liked him too.

Old Mr. Kim was a bit surprised by the certainty in Lisa's voice.

According to his men that looked into this, he learned that his granddaughter was not a fan of Jungkook when she first married into the Jeon family.

As such, when Old Mr. Kim found out about the marital contract, he had expected that they would be able to take care of the matters between Lisa and Jungkook quickly and smoothly.

But now, he was told by his granddaughter that she liked Jungkook. That wasn't something that he had expected.

Old Mr. Kim looked Jungkook up and down, and all Jungkook was doing was looking at Lisa with light in his eyes. He did not know how to hide his feelings. He wore his heart on his sleeve.

Old Mr. Kim, at his age, had encountered his fair share of manipulative and cunKim people. This was the very first time that he had met someone as pure and innocent as Jungkook. Too bad he was ill.

Old Mr. Kim sighed. Now that his granddaughter had her own ideas and had made her own decisions, naturally, he would respect that.

As far as Old Mr. Kim was concerned, his granddaughter's happiness was more important than anything else.

Old Mr. Kim looked over at Jungkook one more time and said to him, "Follow me."

"Grandpa?" Lisa realized that Old Mr. Kim wanted to speak with Jungkook alone.

Old Mr. Kim gave his granddaughter a doting stare and said irritably, "I only want to talk to him. I won't do anything to him. Are you worried that Grandpa will bully him?"
