Night One, let's go bitches !!!

Taylor had sat herself down in her dressing room; her dancers were in adjacent ones opposite hers and in ones down the corridor. They were technically locker rooms, you could still smell it slightly. The mild smell of must and sweat was pungent.

She wasn't familiar with football much herself. She had only known they used State Farm Stadium for the Arizona Cardinals when she saw all of the signs and merch back in 2018 when she had first brought her tour to Glendale. It had been for the Reputation Stadium Tour.

Her dad had a slight bitterness about the stadium too. Taylor knew that it was because it was here ,only a month ago, that the Philadelphia Eagles had been beaten by the Kansas City Chiefs at the Super Bowl. Taylor herself didn't particularly care much. Sure she had been to a fair few Eagles games as a child with her dad, but she much preferred music. The only time the Super Bowl ever crossed her mind was when they would ask her to perform at the halftime show. Each time it was the same response: thanks, but no thanks!

Her makeup was all finished, all it needed now was her signature red lip but she would do that just before she entered the stage to avoid messing it up. She had been now banned from eating or drinking anything, there were no bathroom breaks factored into the tour schedule in order to fit in the 44 songs she had planned and rehearsed to sing. Her fans had been waiting 5 years for another tour and she was not going to disappoint them. Glendale had even renamed the city for her: "Swift City".

"What colour dress should I wear for the surprise songs set tonight Mom?" Taylor asked, turning to her mom who was sat on a couch in the dressing room, scrolling through emails and messages on her phone.

"umm I quite like the pink dress."

"Good choice. So there you have it folks, this is again how we will be deciding surprise song outfits on the Era's Tour. Me and Mom making tour fashion decisions since 2007!" Taylor had been recording a funny video of the entire conversation.

"What?" Andrea looked up, a confused look plastered across her face and Taylor couldn't help but laugh. This had made her mom smile; she hadn't seen Taylor laugh spontaneously like this in a long time. It had always been fake, or expertly planned as to not hurt a friends feelings when telling a possibly poor joke.

Everything was going swimmingly and she had made it to the surprise set of the tour.

"Glendale welcome to the first ever acoustic set of the Eras Tour!" With this the crowd went wild and shined like thousands of stars in the night sky, but this time on the ground in front of her. And surrounding her.

"So my plan is, who knows if I will stick to it haha. But the plan, the goal, would be to be able to play different songs every single night and never repeat one of them." The crowd kept getting louder. "Unless, caveat, I mess it up so badly that I have to do it all over again!" They all laughed together. The acoustic set meant so much to Taylor; quite possibly, it was her favourite part of her tours to play because of the connection she could feel to the crowd and to her fans who meant so much to her. She would do anything for her fans, and in the past this had been her downfall.

"So I was think uh that the first one I would play for you. Also I wanted to check with all you guys up top, I can see you all so well but I just wanted to check, is everyone doing all right? See this is the reason why I love the bracelets because they light up so nicely and I can see you all." Taylor looked up around at all of the fans, shaking their bracelets and cheering her name. This was all she had ever dreamed off. She wanted to pinch herself, splash water on her face to wake herself up out of this magical dream.
