"Red Robin." Batman said.
"Hello Batman." RR said.
At the moment he and Superboy were in the debriefing room with the Big Bat having a conversation about their new 'friend'.
(Just acknowledge you like each other already!!)
"Why didn't you tell me you knew Phantom?" Big Bat asked.
"Because you would've used me to get information on him. And he's not a threat I'll have you know." RR said anger in his voice.
"No, I would have asked you to bring him in so I could interrogate him. And why do you believe he isn't a threat?" B asked.
"Where do you think I go during the day. I hang out with him. And he's an awesome person. He wants to threaten Superman though." Tim answered his mentor.
"He wants to threaten Superman. Why?"
"Because of how he's been treating Connor." Tim said. "He's even made a kryptonite sword."
By this point Batman was thoroughly confused. Where the heck did someone find enough kryptonite to make a sword? How did he make a sword? When did his most anti- social son get a friend that wasn't a hero? Wait. Tim's Bi. Is he finally getting a love life? Does he like Phantom? He's also been spending a lot of time with Connor. Hmmmm. Interesting.
"Why don't you invite him over and I'll see for myself how good of a friend he is." Batman said.
Tim and Connor looked at each other.
"He's kinda stuck somewhere for a week." Tim said handing his father the letter that came with the box of sweets Danny made them.
"Call him then. See when he can come." He said.
"You know what? I'll just show you why that's not a good idea." Tim said getting his phone and calling Danny on facetime.
When Danny answered he was in his King Phantom form in a study with scrolls littered everywhere.
"Hey, Tim. Kinda busy making a new law against using powers in the Zone, but I can talk." Danny said not looking up from the scrolls.
"Batman thought it was a good idea to invite you to the Cave." Tim said monotonously.
A voice came from the other side.
"My King, it is almost time to eat!" Fright Knight called.
"Be right there almost done!!" Danny called in the same language. "Sorry gotta go, but I can totally come. I'll finally be able to lecture The Boy Scout on how to be a parent." Danny said his goodbyes and ended the call.
"He's gonna bring the sword." Tim said with a hand on his face.
"I think it would do Superman some good honestly." B said.
Tim sighed. "Maybe you're right."
"I think he is." Connor said.
