At the battle field, the remaining Fae stood, staring in silence at the space where Rowan had been, where he had been before he had burst into flames and vanished. But while they were doing this, a column of flame erupted once again from the ground. And when this column of flame died down, there were two Fae left inside, holding onto each other, each one wrapped in the others embrace. And these two Fae where the two who had vanished only minutes ago. They stood in silence, staring out at the world around them, before they opened their mouths to say a thank you to the High Fae who had helped them defeat their enemy. In turn, the High Fae thanked them, and all of them winnowed to the Night Court to celebrate their victory. But as soon as they reached the Night Court, all of those from Erilea started to shimmer, and one by one, they disappeared, returning back to their home of Ardalan and Terrasen.
