The rest of the day the four of them spent together in the Kincaids' back yard. Pete and Sharon had an in-ground pool, an addition which happened after Samantha had moved away from home much to her dismay, so they were in and out of the pool, playing bocce ball and badminton and just relaxing.
Adam was glad that Samantha had left the tiny white bikini at home and opted instead for a modest black tankini. He was positive that Pete and Sharon wouldn't have appreciated his reaction to the other one and there was no way that he would have been able to hide it.
In the late afternoon Samantha and Adam put together dinner, which was delicious and Adam was amazed how simple it was, and by evening they were all tired and resting in front of a movie in the family room, Pete falling asleep in his chair mere minutes into the show.
Mac was coming over for brunch in the morning so after the movie, Samantha and Adam helped Sharon set the table in the dining room and prep the coffee and fruit before they all fell into their beds.
