CHAPTER 5

I was on my phone when a message made me fall off from my bed .

I was not able to believe whatever I was reading .

Holy ..

Why did Varun messaged me to come to meet him at a cafe tomorrow ?

Before I could think further my phone rang and it almost fell from my hand when I saw it was Varun calling .

What is wrong with him today?

It's currently past 11pm right now . Why was he calling so late ?

I took a deep breath and cleared my throat before picking up the call .

"Hello?",I spoke on the phone. 

"Hello Shruti",he said .

Please god don't make this phone call awkward. 

"Am I disturbing you ? You weren't sleeping right?",he asked .

"No not at all I was awake only preparing for tomorrow's lecture",I lied .

I was already done preparing for tomorrow's lecture .

"You read my message right?",he asked .

"Oh yeah I did ..I was about to text you back but before that you called",I said .

"Umm..so are you free tomorrow?Will you be able to meet me?",he asked .

Should I meet him or not ? I should meet him otherwise I will keep thinking for days why did he wanted to meet me and it's not like I am busy tomorrow .

"Yeah sure at what time?",I asked .

"As far as I know your school ends at 4 pm so will 5 pm be okay?",he asked .

"Yeah it would be fine",I said .

"Thankyou it's really something urgent I need to ask you",he said .

"I will be there by 5 pm",I said .

"Okay then Goodnight",he said .

"Goodnight",as soon as I said goodnight back I hung up the call .

For God's sake that wasn't an awkward call atleast for me not sure about him .

"But what urgent thing he has to ask me?",I questioned myself.

Ugh now my overthinker mind won't let me sleep properly tonight .

What should I wear ? What should I wear ?

I think I have gone mad . I have been awake since 6 am and been searching for something to wear today as I have to meet Varun also after school .

And currently it's 8 am and I have to leave by 9 am .

I need to wear a kurti or a saree only as in school the teachers are only allowed to wear that and not western clothes .
