CHAPTER 12

Varun

I have been throwing up since yesterday and my body feels weak too .

And there is no one to take care of me .

I have also been leaving in my apartment most of the times ever since Ma and Papa left as it feels to lonely to live in a mansion alone .

Right now also I am at my apartment only .

Just then I feel like throwing up . I somehow get up from my bed and go towards the washroom .

When I come back my phone starts ringing.

It was Shruti calling .

It has been an week ever since the party . Neither me nor her contacted each other .

I pick up her call .

"Hello",I said .

"Hello",she said .

Even before she or I could say anything I feel like throwing up again .

"Hello ? Varun? Are you okay?",I heard her speaking .

"I will call you back in few minutes",saying that I hang up her call and throw up again .

Finally when I was feeling a little bit fine I called her back .

"Hello Varun are you okay?",she asked as soon as she picked up .

"Nothing just I have been throwing up",I told her .

"Since today?",she asked .

"No since last night",I said .

"Where are you now at your home or apartment?",she asked .

"My apartment why?",I asked .

"I am coming in an hour",she said .

"Wait there is no need",I told her .

"Also you must be at school right now",I said .

"Did you forgot that today is Saturday and on Saturday there is half day school?",she asked .

"Oh yeah right but still there is no need to come",I said .

"You are sick and I am coming that's it",saying that she cut the call .

The doorbell rings and I open it .

It was ofcourse Shruti .

"What did you bring with you?",I asked seeing the bags in her hand .

"Ahh some grocery",she said and goes to the kitchen .

"What are you making?",I asked when I see her taking out a cooker .

"Khichdi",she said .

Looks like she directly came from school only as she was wearing a saree .

"Did you come directly from school?",I asked .
