CHAPTER 16

"Hello Ma papa how are you both?",I ask them on the video call .

"We are doing good beta how are you doing?",Ma asks me .

"I am also doing good",I tell them .

"Also I heard about your deal with Mr.Singhania congrats beta so proud of you",papa says .

"Thankyou Papa ..also you guys are in NewYork right now right?",I ask .

"Yes 2 days later we leave for Paris and then a we spend 4 days there then finally leave for London",Ma says .

"Spend as much as time with Niharika in London I have yet to book your return ticket",I tell them .

"Did you talk to Nihu about it?",Papa asks .

"Yes when she came to India few days ago I had a talk with her so I told her and she was happy with you guys staying with her",I tell them and I could see the relief in their eyes .

"How is Aahan?",both of them ask .

"He is okay too don't worry about him .. I am looking after him",I tell them .

"Also beta why are you living in the apartment live at our home",Ma says .

"Ma what will I do there alone in a huge Mansion ? Also it's better for me to stay here as Aahan is just few buildings away",I tell her .

"But you have to come back when me and you Papa will come back",she says .

"Yes yes I will",I tell her.

We talk more and I then as they had to leave we cut the call .

I look at the time it's late now I should sleep I also have to attend an important meeting tomorrow .

When I am about to sleep I receive a text from someone .

I check to see who it is and a smile appears on my face when I see it was a message from Shruti .

Shruti- Hey what are you doing ?

Me- Nothing was just about to sleep

Shruti - sorry sorry I disturbed you , you should sleep you told me yesterday you have an important meeting tomorrow .

Me-It's fine we can talk also I am at my apartment only so I can reach at the company quickly .

Shruti-Okay then how was your day?

Me- It went good also during the lunch time I was reminded of the lunch box you sent me👀

Shruti-Should I make you one for tomorrow?👀

Me-Hehe I was joking you don't have too .

Shruti-I am not joking I can seriously make you one.

My heart swells in happiness. I remember once in college she bought food made by her and our friends were eating it but I was hesitant as we used to talk less but then she offered me too and I was so happy on inside .

Me- Can you bring my tiffin to your school then my driver will come to pick it up?

Shruti-Sure wait let me check the timetable to see when I am free so that you can tell the driver to come at that time.

She goes offline for 2 minutes and then comes back .

Shruti-I am free at 11 am .

Me-Done then sending the driver by 11 am
