It was a week after Ameer's proposal and the preparations for Hindu's wedding started. Everyone was happy about Ameer's choice because they knew Hindu was a nice and good girl anyone would be lucky to have her as his life partner. Well except two people, Maryam and her mom. Hajiya badia, Maryam's mom tried to condem Hindu in front of the family but nobody was ready to hear it. Ameer wanted the wedding to be as fast as possible so that they won't be problems. He just couldn't wait to have Hindu as his wife. So they set the wedding date in a month time
(I'm not good with explaining wedding events so I'm just going to brush through)
One month passed and the wedding events started.
On wednesday was the bridal shower.
On Thursday was the walima
And on Friday was nikah and dinner.
On Friday after the nikah in the night before Hindu was taken to her husband's house aunty Rabi and some of her aunts sat her down and told her all about marriage and all those lectures they give a bride before they take her to her new home. Hindu wished her parents where here to witness this special day of her life. But you can't always get what you wish for. Thinking of her parents made tears fall from her eyes. Aunty Rabi cleaned her eyes "Don't cry Hindu just pray for them Hindatu, I know its every girls dream to have her parents with her on their wedding day. But this is what Allah has planned and don't worry I'm your mother and father don't hesitate to tell me when anything is wrong okay. Just please follow your husband wished in other to go to aljannah okay?" Hindu wiped the remaining tears and smiled. She hugged her aunt and cried on her shoulder while thanking her for being their for her.
She was taken to his house with her very close cousin Aisha. Hindu didn't keep much friends she only had three friends in school. Amal, khadija and meenah. Aisha was her best friend. Although Aisha lives in Kaduna they were very closed. The four of them lead her inside the big house. It was a little dark but they could see. They lead her to her room. They noticed Aisha was still crying. "Babe don't cry okay pray insha Allahu ameer will treat you right" meenah said
Aisha cleaned her tears and they gave her a group hug then Amal started to tickle her and she started to laugh the room was filed with their laughter when they heard the groom's men arrive she quickly hid her face before they came in.
"Hey ladies" faruk said giving them his killer smile.
"Can we see our bride" faruk asked
"No you have to pay first' khadija said
" how much do you want Ameer's cousin najib asked
"Five hundred thousand" Amal said
"Okay that sounds fair faruk said and gave them the money. They hugged Hindu one by one and Aisha was the last she hugged her and pecked her on her forehead be a good girl okay I will come back in the morning she whispered in her ear before she left.
