Its being four months after their wedding and they have being living peacefully except for one thing hindu is yet to be pregnant. Maryam and her mother keep mocking her because of this. Even though she ignores them it still worries her. Meanwhile Ameer has never complained, his love for her increases every single day and he didnt really care that she still isn't pregnant.
At Ameers home umma was busy chatting with maryam's mother aunty lami when when aunty lami decided to turn umma against Hindu.
"I'm not getting any younger I would have loved to see Ameer's children before I die"she said dramatically looking at umma with the conner of her eyes.
Umma did not say a thing so laminate decided to continue.
"If only Ameer's wife could ever get pregnant"laminate added
"She will insha Allah"umma said
"Hmm i don't think so ooo infact you don't know what I heard"lami said
"What did you hear tell me" umma said getting curious
"I heard her that day when I went to thief house, she was discussing with a friend of hers. I heard her say she can never give birth again. I think it has to do something with t abortion she had before ai"she lied
"Inalilahi wa inailhi rajiun! " she exclaimed
"Wallahi tallahi I heard them. But I though you know about her past abortion? She tells her
"No wallahi she never said anything like that. If I knew that I wouldn't have let her marry my son. What should we do now? Umma said
"Hmm Ameer needs a second wife I don't know if he will agree but my daughter is a very good girl and she is available". Lami said
"Yes its a good idea but I know Ameer has no intention of marrying more than one wife its not in his blood."says umma
"The best thin is to send Maryam to his house for some time. With time he will fall in love with her and he will want to marry her. My daughter is a nice and very beautiful girl o know he will fall for her. Lami said
"Yes you are right haka ma zaa yi"
Umma says
I'm a very smart person that girl will be out of that house in no time and my daughter will replace her lami said in her mind with a wicked smile.
Back at Ameer's house he came back from work early open the door and entered he called his wife a few times but no answer he went to their room and found her sitting lost in thoughts. He had to hit her a little to get her attention back.
"Ohh you are back let me get you something to eat go and freshen up." She said trying to get up.
"Wait let's talk please wifey tell me what's wrong" he said
"Nothing much its about the baby issue I'm scared I might not be able to give birth" she said
"That's nonsense very soon we will have little versions of you and I running around in this house okay don't worry about that Gods timing is the best. " he said after bringing her head to rest on his chest in attempt to comfort her.
"I think we should go for fertility test" She said
"Okay we will go tomorrow inshaa Allah now stop thinking smile for me " then she smile and said thank you
"Baby or no baby what matters is that I love you so much and I don't give a darm about what others say its you and I against the world okay? She smile I love you too my husband and then she hugged him.
