Chapter 15

Jasmine's POV

"I'm Riley, and it's so lovely to finally meet you?"

'Hmm, so Bitch-face is The Bitch-face. Interesting.'

"Well, Riley, it's good to meet you as well, I've heard so many nice things about you."

"Really, well I think we'll be good friends then."

"Oh, umm, no. Sorry, you may have misunderstood my tone and forgotten my last sentence. I. don't. like. you. And now that we know you even more, we dislike you even more. Get it."

"Wow, you don't have to be so mean about it. And who's we?"

"Us." I say, I shift after and growl at her. I turn around and go to Emily, I nudge her with my nose and she starts to walk, even though she's still engrossed in what Lil is saying. We walk up the stairs and into our room, I close the door behind me and shift. I lean against the door and let out a deep breath.

'Hey Jas.'

'Hey Buddy, how've you been?'

'Alright, I've been talking to Emily and Lily a lot, since you've been out.'

'You were awake the whole time. How long was I out?'

'Four days or something.'

'What happened? Is Kyle gone?' I ask,

'Yeah, Emily dealt with that problem, but our old pack is now staying here permanently, same with South Black Wood. We've got a big territory now. Ben was waiting for Emily to start the plans for a new house, because the three packs under one roof is getting crowded and someone is bound to crack soon and people and wolves will really get hurt.'

'A load has happened while I've been out than.'

'Yep.'

'Okay, well I'm having a shower so I'll talk to you in a bit' I block Lupus out and walk into the bathroom, I climb into the shower and turn it on, I wash all of the dirt and blood off of myself and climb out. Grabbing a towel and drying myself as I walk out of the small room and into the closet. I grab a pair of sweats and a baggy t-shirt and put them on. I climb into the bed that Emily and I share and lie there for a minute, remembering that I had just been asleep for at least three whole days I get up. I climb out of the bed and stand in the middle of the room,

'What should we do?' I ask my wolf.

'I'm kinda hungry, for bacon maybe.'

'Good idea.' I say and run down the stairs into the kitchen, I open the fridge and look for the bacon. Finding the big packet, I pull it out and place it on the bench. I grab a pan and put it on the stove. As I'm about to open the packaging Bitch-face walks in,

"What do you think you're doing?" She asks,

"Catching unicorns. What does it look like I'm doing?"

"Very funny, you can't eat that, it's not yours, it has someone's name on it and that used to be an animal, like seriously a pig."

'Holy shit, with every word that comes out of her mouth I hate her even more.'

"Sorry, I haven't eaten since I stole a box of cookies off your mate and that was like at least an hour ago. Wait, you don't eat bacon?" I say,

"No, I'm a vegetarian." she says, I crack up laughing, I look up at her confused face,

"Oh my God, you're not kidding, you're a wolf, how do you not eat meat?"

'Because she's one of those girls that eats salad every day with the exception of Wednesday, she can have fish.' I snort a bit at Lupus, Riley gives me a look before saying,

"I'm on a diet where I only eat salad, except Wednesday, I can eat salmon." This time I laugh instead of snorting,

'How did you do that Lupus?'

'It's because she smells like fish.' I laugh even harder and my stomach starts to hurt. A scary looking old guy walks in and gives me a death stare, as my laughter stops I return it.

"Excuse me young lady, but I am an Alpha, you can not treat me like that, nor can you treat my daughter that way." I smile at him,

"Sorry sir, but stop me if my information is incorrect, you are no longer Alpha, your daughter is mated to the Alpha's twin and that makes you part of this pack which means your titles are removed and I'm mated with the official Alpha of this pack, which makes me Luna, which makes you shut up." I say sweetly, his gaze hardens but I continue to cook my bacon. Ten minutes and half a pack of bacon later Old man and Bitch-face are still glaring at me, I put my dishes in the sink and the bacon in the fridge and go to walk outside,

"Wait, if you're the Luna, that makes you Emily's mate?" Riley asks,

"Yes, you're a little slow, but you're catching on. Me Alpha's mate, you Alpha's brother's mate. Understand?" The old guy growls at me, but I just roll my eyes, I'm not in the mood for a fight or for making good impressions either.

"The Alpha is female and so is her mate, good God, this pack is running it's self into the ground." Old man says,

'Ohhh wow, a real live Jesus freak, I can't wait for the outcome.' Lupus says,

'Hush boy, trying to talk here.'

"Where's the Alpha? I would like a word with her about the well being of her pack."

"Umm, Old man, it's your pack too, unless you declare your self rogue.'' I say,

"No, I need to speak with her before she gets everyone killed, I'll take over her position and I'll save this pack."
