Zach's car pulls up in front of Ethan's house, I see everyone else's cars so we are the last people here. I reach for the door handle but Zach stops me,
"If you want to go home just tell me," he says softly,"don't be afraid to ask, okay?"
"Okay" I say quietly and step out of his car.
When we enter the house everyone is sitting on the floor in a circle.
"It's about time" Ethan jokes
"We're playing truth or dare" Drew informs us.
We sit down and the game begins, Sofia starts,
"Zach truth or dare" she asks
"Dare" he answers
"Okay, I dare you to kiss Megan"
Zach shrugs snd stands up, he walks over to Megan and plants a quick kiss on her lips.
"Megan truth or dare?" Ethan asks
"Truth" she answers
"Do you like Zach?" Ethan asks withs grin
"Yes" Megan answers looking over at Zach and flashing him a smile.
"Maddie truth or dare?" Drew asks
"Dare" I answer
"Go kiss Ethan" he says
"Okay" I shrug and give Ethan a quick kiss
After a few more rounds Sofia goes again, "Zach truth or dare"
"Truth" he answers
"Do you like Maddie?" She asks expecting the answer to be no
Zach grins, "yes"
He leans over and kisses me, I hear Sofia gasp.
"Why do you look so surprised" Zach asks her
"Uh, no reason" she mumbles and is silent for the rest of the night.
I see Ethan laughing in the corner, a smile stretchered across his face.
We all hear a car pull up in the driveway, "Ethan?" Drew asks
Ethan groans, "my parents are home"
Ethan's parents enter the house, a shocked look on their faces.
"Don't worry they were just leaving" Ethan says quickly
"Good" his dad's says and his parents go up the stairs
"Sorry guys" Ethan says quietly, "they weren't supposed to come back until tomorrow morning"
"It's cool man" Zach says and we get to his car.
He opens my door for me, what a gentleman. We're pretty silent on the ride home. We pull up in front of my house.
"Did you have fun?" Zach asks
I nod
"Good" he says
We're silent for another moment, I lean over and kiss him. Zach's arms wrap around me as he pulls me closer. I run my fingers through his hair. After a moment I pull away and grab his hand.
"Good night" I say and give his hand a squeeze
"Goodnight" he replies and I watch him pull out of the driveway before going inside.
