Noah's POV:
God. What does Emily want now? I turned away from her,
"What do you want Emily?"
"I warned you downstairs, I whispered it. And you said it wouldn't be"
"Shut up, Emily. Just tell me what the fuck you want?"
"Fine,whatever. I just wanted to use your toothpaste, mine is out"
"I thought you left! I saw you leave before"
"Yeah, but then I realized there was something in my teeth and came back. I am going to meet my friends after all."
"Fine you can use it. I'm going out"
"Where? Back to your boyfriend?"
It felt really weird to hear that. It made me feel like I was doing something both wrong and weird. Like it had to be secret. It wasn't like he was my boyfriend's. But hearing that word scared me. I left the room and remembered. Shit. Shit.shit.shit.
I was supposed to be at Mike's house today. With Clay,Clouse and Maya. Shit.
I looked at my phone to see there were many texts from them. Missed calls. I called Mike.

Where the fuck are you? We've been waiting for a long time.
I'm sorry. I had a thing.

I got into my jeep and drove over to Mike's house. I knocked the door and Clouse answered.
"Where the hell have you been?"
"With somebody"
"I thought you had a thing"
"Why are you guys up my ass about this?"
"Because you're worrying us. You're never around and we think you don't wanna hang out with us anymore."
"Yeah well I'm busy, and of course I WANT to be with you guys"
A few minutes later...
My phone went off, I looked at it and saw

Roy: I'm sorry I had to leave. Don't forget I'll always listen if you need anyone.
I smiled. The smiled turned into a grin. Clouse saw it and whispered something to Clay. Clay nodded. Clouse said something and I looked at him, in the same second Clay ran and grabbed my phone and ran in the bathroom where he locked the door.
"Give it back Clay!"
"If you don't tell us what's up, we'll figure it out!" He yelled from behind the door
"No! Stop!"
"Do you have something to hide?" Said Maya
"No! It's not my secrets to tell"
"Then calm down" she said
"Who's Roy?" He said

"Really? Because he's talking to you like he was just over"

"He said he is sorry for having to leave"

"Why would he just text you about it then?"

"I'm calling him, if he's so important you chose him over us"

I heard my phone ringing through the door.
Hello? I could hear his soft and delicate voice that comforted me before.

"I'm Mike, Noah's close friend. And you are?"
"What did I do wrong? Why are you calling me?"
"You did nothing wrong. Chill, Mate. Just tell me who you are" he laughed
