So, here we are again.

It was raining. Of course it was raining. It always rained in unpleasant adversity. The type of rain that came with these kinds of situations. The type of rain that could cause floods. The type of rain that drenched all in its wake in sickness. The type of rain...

That came with the downpour of weapons, and projectiles of Amandla that were fired at the lone Chief. Renero stood his ground, considering his options as time was swiftly running out for him.

Deflect by force with a scorching heat wave? Careful evasion to cause strategic damage to all the wildlife and people around to not have mass casualties? Primalstasis is not an option now in this small space with alerting all the primals wherever they are and aren't. Forget about them attacking these fiends, that would just be more to their infectious army with the mutating gene.

While there was no thunder or lightning this time around, the rain certainly had a certain rumbling fury behind its rapid downpour onto the earth.

Each drop caused steam emissions on Renero's skin due to his rising heat, knowing he would have to produce extremely hot fires to not just bypass the effects of the drowning rain, but to vaporize the continuous showering salvo of shots that were—

Actually, seconds away from hitting him on all sides, directions and angles at once. Time was up. Renero had to make a choice in the next three seconds.

One.

In that very second, he quickly made such a choice by choosing to perform a scorching heat wave in the direction of Ramsis and Koobus's forces. Simultaneously, he would communicate with all the animals to evacuate as far as possible to not get caught up in his hellfire.

Two.

His body became engulfed in his golden fire of Amandla as he crafted a ball of fire in his hand that would explode into a radiating heat wave against his enemies.

Enemies that would get pushed back enough in his heat for him to retreat and regroup for now in order to inform the province of their final move. He closed his eyes in the same second to channel enough power behind his wave as he could sense several of the shots fired at him nearing his skin.

Thre—

Suddenly, the third second was disrupted in incomplete timing with a soft, snowy voice that sounded like cracking ice itself.

"Aquada — Qurriculum."

The icy incantation came with a cold tidal wave formed from the soaking rain that circled around Renero and confined the entire dark forest in a bubbly castle of water.

Water that could drown all and freeze all in suffocating encapsulation, deprived of air. The temperature drop was dramatic, to the point where Renero even considered whether or not they were still in Petora, which Koobus's men backed up with their comments.

"Oy, are we back home in Kimba or what?"

"Or does Petora also get cold like there? Maybe even colder."

"This is news to me, isn't it only supposed to snow down there?"

"Boys, this is perfect!"

"How we never came to this place sooner is beyond me."

"Right? I mean we've got the women, the men to fight, nice weather, nice food, nice vibes, nice nature..."

The vice captain of their group Johannes, looked at Koobus with a raised eyebrow in seeing an excited smile grow on his face.
