Alice follows Mai outside, to find Jake sitting on the concrete in front of their sorority, with UNO cards and snacks in front of him. " Jake? What brings you here? " Alice whispers. " Why the fuck are you whispering? " Mai chuckles. " Oh, bad habit. haha. " Alice nervously replies. " Mai picked me up, saying she got bored and wants to hang out. " Jake smiles. Alice looks at Mai with confusion, but she didn't bother to look at her, and sat down to start the game. The three friends played for couple of hours, getting lost in their challenges. Game after game, they stayed up all night, from teasing eachother to laughing, making Alice feel very happy and welcomed.
" Oh, lemme tag you guys on IG, Alice what's your @? " Mai says. " Itsally97. ". " Huh, it's ally97 right? ". " Yep. ". " Yea i can't find it, dafuq? ". " What? itsally, double L. Y not i, 97. " " Bruh, ITS A-L-L-Y-9-7 ?? " "Dude! Y-E-S! " " Well i can't F-I-N-D it !!! @ ALLY97! " Alice sighs in frustration, " Mai, it's @ itsally97. " " Ohh, why didn't you say so from the beginning. " Mai rolled her eyes and grinned, as Alice facepalms herself and lets out a giggle.
" You both are a perfect match for each other, ha. Anyways, I'm going to head home now. " Jake said as he got up. " Party pooper. " Mai teased. " Stay safe. " Alice said in a shy tone. Jake smiles at her, as he reached out and pet her on her head, " You too Petit.. - Oh and, keep an eye out for Mai, You never know what she may be up to while you're asleep. " He teased as he side eyed Mai, who was standing behind Alice. Mai raised her shirt, revealing a pocket knife tucked in her pants, while sliding her thumb across her throat with the other. Sending shivers down Jake's spine.
The girls head inside as they continued to tease eachother, feeling beat due to their lack of sleep. As Alice was rolling around in her bed, she picked up her phone and opened her DMS, to find herself tagged in a story by Mai. She checked out Mai's profile and began to admire how brave her friend is, for posting pictures of knives and guns. After a couple of minutes, Alice found herself back into Mai's chat and didn't hesitate to start asking questions.
