Kate

"These burgers are so good, babe." I groan while taking another bite.

"I'm glad you enjoy them." My love smiled.

"This has been the best birthday ever. I got to spend it with my family. I love you all." I tell all the people around the outdoor dining table we have.

I get a chorus of, "Love you, too, Kate." and some more smiles.

"What's after dinner?" I ask Christina.

"Cake, then we're gonna hang out in the hot tub." Tina replies.

"I love the hot tub." I smile and swing my legs. One of my stims.

"I know you do." Tina simply said.

I scoff the rest of my dinner so that I can cut the cake. Mainly because I'm a slow eater and everyone else had already finished their dinners. I guess that's what happens when you grow up in a house with lots of siblings. You have people always trying to take your food so you have to eat it before they can try.

"Can have the cake now, Tina?" Esther sings.

"Yes, let's go." she rolled her eye playfully at her sister. Esther cheers and we all follow Tina inside. I watch as she sticks the numbered candles in and lights them.

"Let's get a photo, babe." Tina said, getting her phone out to take a picture of me with my lit cake. I stand my it and pose, ready for the picture and of course, that will go on both my Instagram and the band account.

"Happy birthday to you." they all sing.

Once they finish, I blow out the candles like the little kid I am and made a wish.

I wish Christina would propose.

"Did you make a wish?" Adrianna asked.

"Yeah." I grin.

"Let's cut the cake already!" Esther shouted.

"Patience, child." Tina scolded.

"Shut up."

"Auntie Esther! 'Shut up' is not a nice thing to say!" Zoey sassed as Ruth gasped dramatically.

"I'm sorry!"

"It's okay, Auntie Esther. Just don't do it again." Ruth pointed at her Aunt.

"You can tell they're your kids, Tina." Esther chuckled.

"And I love 'em." Tina said, scooping Ruth and Zoey into her arms so she can kiss their heads.

"Awe, that's great but can we cut my cake now?" I whine.

"Okay, baby. Let's do this." Christina nodded.

I watched as my girlfriend carefully parted the cake equally. There was just enough slices to have one each and then the cake was gone.

It was so good. The chocolate was the right amount and I could eat a whole batch of fondant. I love cake.

"We did good." Zoey nodded.

"Absolutely." Esther agreed, chocolate at the corners of her mouth.

"Esther, you have a bit of cake around your mouth." Marely mused, but you could tell that there was a lack of amusement.

"Can you get it for me?" Esther leaned her face towards her girlfriend.

Marley grimaced, like, she actually pulled a face before leaning into Esther and licking the cake from the corner of the blonde's mouth.
