Ananya POV
"Bua, main is mahal mein reh reh ka rub gayi hun. Kahin ja sakte Hain Kya?" (Aunt, I am bored staying in this palace. Can we go somewhere?) I ask Bua Kunti and Gandhari. We are done with the Puja.
"Awashya." (Sure) Bua Gandhari says.
"Main Karn se kehtin hun." (I will tell Karn.) Bua Kunti says. I do a victory dance, internally.
"Dasi!" (Maid.) Bua calls. "Ang- Raj Karn ko kaho ki Rani aur Maharani bula rahin hai." (Tell Ang- Raj Karn that Queens are calling for him.)
After five minutes, a muddled looking Karn joins us.
"Kya hua, ma?" (What happened, mom?) he asks.
"Ang- Raj, Humari putri raj- mahal mein hi hai kafi din se. Kya aap Mujhe bata saktein hai ki aap usse kahin le kar kyun nahi gaye?" (Ang- Raj, my daughter has been in the Palace since a long time. Can you tell me, why you haven't taken her anywhere?) Bua Gandhari asks in a queen voice. Me and Bua Kunti hide our giggles behind our hand, at his expression.
"Uh, aapki putri?" (Uh, your daughter?) he asks.
"Haan. Ananya humari Putri nahi?" (Yes, isn't Ananya our daughter?) This time Bua Kunti raises an eyebrow.
"Na..Nahi Nahi. Maine aisa kab kaha?" (No, when did I say that?) He shutters.
"Achcha hai. Chalo ise kahin le jao." (Good. Take her somewhere.) Bua Kunti orders.
Wow. Such attitude. Must be a queen thing.
"Abhi le jao." (Take her now.) Bua Gandhari adds.
"Ji, Kaki shree." (Yes, aunt.) He says before turning to me, "Chalein?" (Should we move?) he asks.
"Mujhe kuch chiein chahiye hongi." (I need some things.) I tell him, before walking away.
My Bua's walk out of the room, they said they have work. I am not so sure, but whatever.
I pick my black glitter bag from the suitcase and throw things in it. My spectacle box, some tissues, some wet wipes, my head phones, my lip gloss, my lenses (just in case) and two water bottles.
