Third POV

Two days later

 In Hastinapur

"Anga ka Kya karna hai, Maharaj?" (What do we do of Anga, Maharaj?) Gandhar Raj Shakuni asks.

"Anga Pradesh?" (The country of Anga?) Maharaj Dhritarashtra frowns.

"Anga Pradesh ka kuch nahi karna chhiye, woh ab humare desh ka hissa nahi hai." (We will do nothing of Anga, it is not part of our empire, it is a country in itself.) Maha Mahim Bishma says.

"Par Maha Mahim -" (But Maha Mahim -) Gandhar Raj Shakuni tries to speak in the middle, as Maha Mahim talks.

"Nahi." (No.) Maha Mahim Bishma says in a firm tone. "Karn ko pehle hi, humne woh Pradesh Diya tha, aur fir Karn ne kaha tha Anga, uski ger majudgi Mein Yuyutsu sabhalega. Aur hum us Mein koi Parivartan nahi karenge." (We had a long time ago gifted the place to Karn, and Karn had said that always in his absence, Anga will be under the check of Yuyutsu. And we will not change it anyway now.)

"Main aapke saath Hun, Maha Mahim." (I agree with you, Maha Mahim.) Maharaj Dhritarashtra says after remaining silent for a minute.

Gandhar Raj had a surprised look on his face for a second before his face once again was devoid of any emotion.
He was contemplating now, what should be his next move? How should he bring Anga under his control?

"Maha Mahim Bishma, Maharaj Dhritarashtra!" A solider greets.

"Kya baat hai, senik?" (What is it, Solider?) Maha Mahim Bishma asks.

"Raj Kumari Dushala aap sab se milna chahti hai." (Raj Kumari Dushala wants to meet all of you?) The Solider says.

"Usse aane do!" (Let her come in.) Maharaj Dhritarashtra replies, frowning. What happened to his princess that she came here to meet him? When she must sure be aware that I am working?

"Pranipatra Pitamah, Pita Shree, Kaka Shree!" (Greetings Grand- father, Father, uncle.) Dushala greets, her grandfather, father and uncle, completely ignoring her uncle and her brothers.
