"Maine kaha tha, aap par yeh sari bahut achchi lagegi." (I had said, this saree would look good on you.) Subhadra exclaims, "Aapne isse us tarike se bhi pehena hai." (You have worn it in that style too.)
Ananya smiles at her, "Koirala Sari, pehene ka Fayda Kya Hua fir?" (What is the point of wearing Koriala saree, if not wearing it like this?)
"Koirala sari?" Maharani Gandhari asks. "Kya khas hai is Mein?"
Ananya takes her aunt's hand and runs it over a part of her saree, "Kapda dekh rahin Hain, Chachi? Is se mahin kapda nahi hai Kaliyuga Mein. Is se silk kehtien hai. Aise bahut tarike ke silk Hain. Koirala silk sari, sahfed ya khaki rang ka hota hai, aur uska kinara lal rang ka hota hai." (You are seeing that cloth, aunt? There is no other softer cloth than this in Kali yuga. We call it silk. There are many types of silk. Koirala silk saree, is white or cream in color and its border is red colored.)

"Bahut hi sundar hai, hai na?" (Its' very beautiful, right?) she asks.
