Duryodhana POV

Jyeshta looked like shit. He was completely disheveled. And I noted it at the first look I got of him.
His eyes were unfocused. He remained too much in his brain. Laughed falsely and was smiling like nothing was good.

He was in pain. I knew it, but I couldn't do anything about it.

Why? Well two reasons, one he didn't say anything so I wasn't sure if my points were corrects or not. And second because I didn't know if I will bring him out of his misery or drown him more in it.

He is smart. Knows things, and analyses them. You rarely find anything wrong in whatever he does. So, I knew that maybe he knew what caused his such state. But it felt unbelievable so he didn't share.

Since, the day I have been friends with him, I never knew I would ever see him like this. I wonder how Ananya di is?
Mother made me do that, whenever I refer to her as something else a whack follows, on head or back or wherever the hand find's place.

"Bharata Duryodhana." (Brother Duryodhana) A voice calls.

"Haan Sehdev." (Yes Sehdev?)

"Kahan kho Gaye Ho, aaj?" (Where are you lost today?)

"Kahin nahi. Bas..." (Nowhere, just) I look over at Jyeshta sighing. He follows my eyesight and nods in understanding.

We are sitting in the throne room, today is the big day, it's been four days since Jyeshta has been here. Thy are revealing about Karn being our eldest brother and a Kaunteya.
I wonder how it fares?

"Maha Mahim, ek ghoshna karne ja rahien Hain." (Maha Mahim is going to declare something.) Maha Mantri Vidor announces.

The whispers instantly started like a fire in the throne. Geez! these people.

"Dhanyavad Maha Mantri." (Thank you Maha Mantri.) Pitamah Thanks Tata shree.
"Kuch din pehele hi, humare Parivar ke bare Mein kuch batien pata chali Hain, jo abhi tak chupi hui thi. Humare pichle Swarg wasi Maharaj Pandu ki Patni ko ek aur Putra tha." (Some days ago, I have learnt about somethings of my family, which had been hidden till now. Our previous, heaven residing King Pandu's wife had another son.)
