Chapter 50

Y/N POV:

I woke up at 10am. Talk about being late. I have to go to office for a meeting. And then pick my sister up from airport and after it , I need to attend Jungkook's birthday party. I am very busy today.

I got ready for my day. Had my breakfast and Mike picked up after few minutes. Upon reaching the office , I quickly went to the meeting.

 The heads didn't came to the office today, I gave them leave for today on Mr. Park request as they wanted to spend the whole day with the birthday boy and wanted to make arrangement for the party.

Next two days I won't be coming to the office, as my sister is coming and I am sure she won't let me come as we need to prepare for the engagement party. So I need to finish all the work for the next two days today.

Its almost 7pm. I forgot to have my lunch but its ok. I am done with work now I need to pick my sister up from airport. I called Mike and asked to take the car out to go to airport.

I locked my office and went down. I got in the car and he started driving. "Y/N, you didn't ate anything, are you hungry, should we stop somewhere to grab something quickly?" Mike asked out of concern.

"No, Its ok, I am not hungry, let's pick her first or else she will throw fits" I said smiling. I know her, and I am aware how excited she is to be here.

We reached the airport. She will be here any minute. Soon I hear someone shouting my name, and I know exactly who is it.

"Sweetpea, I missed youuuuuuu" She said and hugged me super tight. "I missed you so much" She said and hugged even tighter. " I-I c-can't breath-h" I said. 

"oh sorry" and she smiled. " I missed you too, sis" I said. Mike was already putting her luggage inside the car. " When are mom and dad is coming?" I asked her as she went inside the car. "oh they will be here tomorrow." 

Soon me and my sister started to talk our heart out on the way back home. And phone went buzzing with notifications. "Hey check your phone it keeps buzzing" My sister said and I took out my phone to check.

There were several messages from Jimin and few from Jungkook.

JIMIN:

hey where are you we are waiting.
where are you?
You are coming right?
hey?
hey why you are not responding?????
where are youuuu???
 Where are you?
hey?
hey?
come fast
hurry
we are waiting..........

OMG. I made them wait. Its almost 9 now. 

JUNGKOOK:

hey
where are you?
we are waiting.
You will show up right?

"you should show up" My sister suddenly spoke up. I didn't noticed that she was also ready my messages.

"hmm I guess so." I said. "You should definitely. As it will be the last birthday party you are going to attend." I looked at her. I think she got it that I am confused. " Its last because you will be leaving right? You can again after you come back." she said. " I am still thinking about it" I mumbled.

"what do you mean that you are thinking. Don't tell me you like someone" She suddenly asked me. I know I can't lie to her and she can read me like an open book so there will be no way out.

"Your silence is telling me, I am right." I nodded. " Tell me, its him right?" she asked as she pointed towards my phone, Jungkook's message page was still on. "yeah" I mumbled again.

"Sweetpea, I know it may sound bitter but I think he just sees you as a friend." "why?" I asked looking down to my phone.

"Listen, you told me everything right? From it I can say that he just likes you as a friend. He sees you as a kid not as an adult. He will always treat you like that. You both have a little more age difference. I know, he doesn't like you as a women but as a kid. I know its hard but you should forget about him and continue your studies. Its more important." She said.

I know she is right but my heart doesn't want to listen. Soon we reached my apartment. "Its cozy" she said. " Yeah it is. Make yourself home. Unpack and I will make a quick visit." I said and turned to the door.

"hey wait. You will go in that cloth?" She said as she started dragging me in. " Huh? What's wrong with my dress??" I asked confused.

"You are going to a party in a jeans and shirt? Seriously" She eyed me. Oh one thing I forgot to tell about my sister. She takes fashion seriously.

"oh ok" I gave up at this point. 

She made me wear a black laced dress. Made my hair. "I think I should get going now, it almost 10" 

Although I am going to the party house that is own by the owner of this building making it only 2 mins walk from here. But she doesn't need to know that.

"ok you can go. Call you PA and asked to take you there" She said. I nodded and rushed out. Why I need Mike when the party is in this society only.

I made my way to the party. The guards opened the door for me. As soon as I entered I can see people dancing in the ground floor and other are chilling in the first floor. And loud music as hurting my ears.

I spotted Mr. Kim upstairs so I made my way up there. As I started walking up the stairs realization hits me. I forgot his gift. OH NO. Before I can do something about it Mr. Jung spotted me.

"Hey Y/N. You finally came" He said and I made my way there. No escape this time. They all started to talk with me when I realised that Jungkook is not here. So I asked.

"Where is the birthday boy?" " There he is" Mr. Park said pointing towards one couch.

I saw something I shouldn't have seen. Now I am regret coming here.

I saw him with a girl and they were doing something with their faces so close probably making out and if I am not wrong then I know who exactly she is.
