"Oh! That reminds me—" Radford leaned against my back from behind, gripping my shoulders a bit tighter. "Rick brought something for you!"

I let out a small grunt as he continued to lean against me from behind, my teeth drawing low into an irritated snarl. Though upon processing what he said, I couldn't help but raise a brow in slight confusion. "..wait, wh—what?"

"He said he brought something for you a little before you came in here! Right, Rick?" Radford cocked his head to the side, smiling and oblivous to the awkward situation he had put me in with Rick. Rick only stared blankly in response though, and muttered in a low bass tone, "..yes."

"You.. got something for me? What is it?" I couldn't help but ask.

Rick paused for a few moments, before slowly shuffling one of his hands behind his back, searching for something. "..I got something for you yesterday because I wanted to get you a welcoming gift." His arm slowly slipped out from behind his back, and in his hand, he looked to be holding some kind of DVD copy—it was a movie I didn't recognize, but the cover was gray and slightly ominous. Maybe it was a thriller? I recall him saying he likes that sort of stuff last night at the meeting.

He then held it out in his hand with a blank frown on his face—though I couldn't help but see a faint of red on his face. Maybe it was just the lighting? He didn't seem like the type to get flustered easily. "If you want to, we can talk about it sometime."

I blinked a few times, before smiling back at him, and reached out my hand to take the DVD copy. "T—Thanks, dude. I'll be sure to watch this sometime."

In return, all Rick said in his usual blank manner was—"You're welcome."

After a few minutes of nothing, I expected some scheduled activities to happen, but that didn't seem to be the case. Radford slowly stood up after a while and went over to Ethan to talk to him, Rick went over to a corner and started watching something on his phone, while Kevin walked out of the club-room to go looking for something. Not having much to do, I decided to just sit at the table that was still in the center of the room and wait for something to happen,

I found myself getting a little dizzy with exhaustion as I slumped myself over the table, sighing. There wasn't really much to do around here except talk to anyone, or just wait til Ethan gave instructions on what to do. Though after a bit of listening to the silent but chatter-filled ambience of the room, I can't help but pick up on a distant conversation between both Ethan and Radford.

"Well, people usually already show up since we have free popcorn during the movie festival. And most of the tickets are less pricey than they usually are. But how are we gonna get them to come not just for the snacks?" I could hear Radford's voice say.

"Hmm.. we could try asking if your boss could show movies that have already been seen before. Like some movies could re-release for the day, and we could just have more people come to actually watch the movies that way." Ethan's voice suggested. It sounded like he was shuffling around almost, for I could hear footsteps behind his voice.

"Maybe.. I wanna do something that'll make them take the event really seriously though, so they actually listen if we all end up doing something together during the festival after all." Radford mumbled. Huh.. I wasn't used to hearing him speak so seriously.

I then heard what sounded like a slight slap—most likely, Radford had slammed his fist against his open palm in the midst of suddenly getting an idea. "Hey, I know! We could try selling food that we don't do usually."

Ethan sounded curious. "..like?"

"Brownies!" Radford exclaimed. "We could sell brownies, dude! Then more people would definitely come!"
