Jessica just had to make sure I didn't miss another one of her award night
she gets very excited whenever she is being honored to receive an award

Tonight was no exception..
I was so sure; she would nail it just like she did three years in a row

She got me a tux for the night but I swear, I'd rather be somewhere else than being tangled up in all this paparazzi

Lately I seem to enjoy it more when she's not at home or gone on a trip.
I don't even count down to when she'll be back anymore
I'm learned to not deal with loneliness anymore all thanks to Matilda

The party was going great... Splendid even, I was able to interact with familiar faces and talk business too

Everything was going smoothly until James showed with the sexy gorgeous in blue.....
My heart was beating so fast and I could barely concentrate

I would really love for it to just be the two of us alone.....
I could see Lavon making glances at my babe, can you imagine
what was she doing here...
I wasn't expecting to see her here
Jessica is just somewhere around the corner
and just as I thought of her... She showed up right behind Matilda and my own system was in disarray
this is torture, watching her stand so close to Jessica brings all the guilt and pleasure to play in mind

Matilda must have catch the feels too coz she disappeared almost immediately
that's my girl

The long draining show of their endless long entertainment review. And finally when Jessie was called for the award and we mount that stage

My eyes were only scanning for a certain lady in blue....
She didn't meet my eyes, she looked troubled and I just want to hold her and mess up her hair

What is wrong with me
why Am suddenly so sweaty and uncomfortable....

Jessica must have noticed my discomfort coz she whispered into my ears when she hugged me

"What's wrong you... Are you OK"

I only nodded and try to keep things under control as we walk down the stage.... Just as soon as I got back to our table my phone beeped
A message from Matilda

**meet me at the other entrance in five**

I smiled, finally an escape from here
Fortunately Jessica left to take some pictures so I quickly excused myself

When I got outside... I wanted to hug her but I couldn't risk it
When she started talking I knew something was wrong

And then she said
"You would never look at me the way you look at her"

And I wanted to correct her
because I have not been able to concentrate all night with her around
that has to count for something
and then she just said it over.... Just like that and she walked away

This is definitely not how I had planned for this night to go...
I didn't want to her cut all ties with me.....

But I had to respect her wish
she has her reasons and I also have mine for not going after her

Maybe this is for the best... Who knows
This whole thing has been jeopardizing my marriage from the beginning... Maybe this is a sign that I need to get my head back in line

The moment I stepped back into the hall.... I grabbed a glass of champagne from a waiter... Am going to need more than just one glass... Maybe the whole bottle
