I have to get Matilda out of here, they are all just ganging up on her
I should have known it wasn't a good idea to bring her here.... They are always going to defend and support Jessica.

Dad showed up finally
He is the reason I brought her, he has been pestering me to come along with her

I haven't been visiting him lately but when we spoke on the phone some days back, he just seem to know that something was wrong and it didn't take too long before I told him everything

   "Am sorry dad, but we are just leaving "

I held Matilda her hand, she was crying uncontrollably beside me and I feel really awful about it

"Hey... But I just got here, don't leave on my account and you haven't even introduce us"

"Sorry dad.  .. We can't stay any longer.. With mom and Audrey constantly attacking Matilda "

"I wasn't attacking her " mom moved closer
"I was only clarifying the truth, it not my fault she couldn't handle it"

"Can we just go to my study pls"
Dad turned his wheel and noticed mom trailing behind

"Not you.... Lilah "

"What, He is my son too, i need to be involved"

"You had your chance. You blew it"

She scoffs

"Unbelievable, what about brunch are you going to keep us waiting too"

"Go on... I'll eat later "

Dad led us to his study upstairs using the elevator.
Matilda was now sobbing gently, her hands trembling slightly

His study can easily fit for a community library, since his accident he has been reading alot and by the numbers books in the room. It is definitely increasing

He shut the door with the operator on his wheels

"Matilda... Is it"
She nodded, sniffing
He stretch his hands out to her and she moved closer to grab them

"You have really pretty eyes.... Am Mitch Harper, it so nice to finally meet you "

She smiled the first time all morning

"The pleasure is mine sir"

"I will have to apologize for my family's tantrum and rude remarks that's not  a good way to welcome a guest"

His eyes were fixed on her belle

"May I" she nodded swiftly

He ran his hand over her plump and he giggled

"Divine! We haven't had any baby since Audrey almost two decades and a half, Thank you for giving us this opportunity....... Pls seat "

We sat on the mini couch and i place my hand thighs

"So do we know the sex of the baby "

"It's a baby girl.. . "
matilda answered slowly

"Wow..... I can't wait to see what she looks like, am sure you are very delighted Felix "

"Yes dad"

"It all thanks to Matilda and the big man up there for this gift.... I want to apologize for my wife and daughter's behavior.. It just that they are very fond of Jessica, we all are.... I don't exactly applaud Felix for cheating on her but we never would have found this if you hadn't been involved "
