Two days have passed, today's the day that the empire will held it's festival. It's an event to celebrate the first ruler of Mortimer Empire, Queen Vahnim St. Mortimer Labrith.
How do I know such history? Well, when I was practicing how to walk on my own, I stumble upon a bookshelf inside my room. Then I found the book titled 'The Tale of the First Queen', and the thrilling part is Queen Vahnim wrote the book herself!
I can't believe I am a descendant of the great ruler from many years ago!
Merry is currently fixing my hair. I was staring in front of the mirror, I couldn't help myself but be awe, I still cannot believe I am here in this world.
Those ruby eyes, they're literally amusing to observe. Evaine is so lucky that she have such physical appearance.
Merry tied my hair into braids. I feel so pretty right now, probably because I am living as Evaine. This is the feeling I cannot feel when I was alive in the modern world.
Finally, Merry dressed me into a nice and fabulous garment. I really feel like a princess! And, that's probably because I am living as Evaine and she's the actual princess in this world
Argh, who am I kidding? I don't know anything about royal etiquette, I'm a cheap knock-off of Evaine! I am not the real princess. I feel like an imposter
"There, you're done, lady Evaine," Merry said after she put a huge pink ribbon in my hair, "Hmm, something's wrong..." She stated as she touched her chain while observing me
She then grabbed another box full of huge ribbons, she picked the red one and replaced it on my hair
"There! You're pretty stunning, lady Evaine!" Merry exclaimed
I smiled at her and giggles, I don't know how to say thank you in baby language so I thought giggling might help
She lifted me up and brought me to the queen's room
My eyes sparkled after I saw her majesty's dress. The purple layered neoclassical dress she's wearing complimented her beauty! Those accessories enhanced her outfit. This gorgeous lady in front of me is the one who gave birth to me in this world, right!?
"Ah! Evaine!" She dashed towards me and carried me
"You're majesty, you should not ran off like that," the maid uttered
The queen chuckles, "Oh, I'm sorry, I just wanted to hug her, I haven't held her since yesterday due to my busy schedule,"
It's true, I kinda missed her enthusiastic presence too.
"Are you ready for tonight, Evaine? I'm sure you do!" She stated
"Pardon my disturbance, your majesty, the carriage is ready," the guy looking like a butler stated
"Then, it's time for us to greet the crowd, Evaine, be sure to smile at them, okay?" The queen muttered
We soon entered in a golden-colored carriage. We drove into a nicely decorated path that the town prepared for us
The queen started waving at them as she smiles, the people started throwing flowers into our carriage
The people's smiles, especially the aristocrats, seems genuine. It makes me feel more thrilled to look forward in this festival.
