Amara's POV~

Every single time I come visiting and I see him walk through the door with his usual smile on, it's always a new feeling.
I can't help but smile back at him.

This time, he had his smile on and that lightened my mood.
I smiled back as he approached me in a scurry.

"Amara" he called out slowly as he sat down.

"I missed you so much" he said wrapping my hands in his.

I could feel his warmth and somehow, I was getting a new feeling.

It was same as that which a young lover would feel for the first time.

"I missed you too Nath" I said cupping  the side of his face.

"I'm sorry I wasn't here last week" I said in remorse.

"Yeah, was anything the matter?" He asked as his eyes narrowed in worry.

"No..no, not at all" I broke in.

I paused and then continued.

"I tried therapy Nathan" I said looking up to him.

"Oh, you did?"

I nodded.

"And how was it?"

"I've just been there once and I don't plan to go again"

"Why not?" He asked sitting up but still holding my hands in his.

"Nothing" I muttered.

He narrowed his eyes again.

"Really, it's nothing Nath" I tried to convince.

"No, it's something" he said, slowly rubbing his thumb on my hand.

"Tell me" he added calmly.

He had the magic always and I couldn't resist.

"It's just that, I'm not used to talking about my problems with complete strangers. It all felt very new to me"

"Of course Amara. It should feel new.
But a step at a time okay?" He smiled.

I nodded.

"Maybe you should keep going and eventually, you'd get used to them" he said.

I was quiet.

"Nathan" I called out, looking up at him.

"You know no amount of therapy would make me forget Nma right?"

"Hey,
I know" he said calmly, holding my hands tighter.

"But it's not so you would forget, it's so you would heal and stop blaming yourself for her death" he added.
