***Muzi's POV.

You raise kids a certain way , you teach them many things but when they go out there , they do something completely different from what you taught them. Here I am trying to calm my furious wife who's busy banging the cupboards , clicking her tongue with every mumble she's doing because our small boys ganged up on some kid and beat him up amd now they suspended.

Me : "Baby calm down phela!" She turns to me.

Nolu : "You know what pisses me off , it's the fact that they both cry hysterically and deny everything."

Me : "Baby they just kids!"

Nolu : "Kids that deserve a spanking since you believe in beating people to their right minds."  Okay now why am I also being crucified.

Me : "Baby please calm down , these things happen ; you being dramatic really or maybe you pre...."  the look she gives me LORD!! I think she's also just frustrated with Khanyi. As of cue , Khanyi walks in.

Khanyisa : "Mom , dad. Ninjani?"

Mom : "Khanyi when have you ever seen me doing what you did?"

Khanyisa : "What are you talking about mama?"

Mom : "Have I ever shipped any of y'all away when y'all fell pregnant?"

Khanyisa : "Mama. It's not that we shipped uMihlali off , we thought we were doing something right. Mah , uMihlali has been rebellious so when we came to the decision of sending her to her grandmother it was because we thought she'll be able to realise her mistake , maybe also change her way of doing things."

Mihlali : "It didn't seem like it mah."  She says walking in limping.

Khanyisa : "Oh Sthandwa sami." 

Mihlali : "Mama , I did tell you and dad of how dad's siblings weren't welcoming. I told you ukuthi I wasn't coping that side with everything but what did y'all say? I'm being a spoilt brat mina , I'm acting white so here I am with being white , I almost lost my life too."

Khanyisa : "Mihlali , you know how your father is!"

Mihlali : "You also know how your father is but umama always stood up for y'all."  Aibo! I clear my throat. She turns to me.

Mihlali : "No offence baba." 

Khanyisa : "Trust me I tried but utatakho wouldn't hesr anything infact he was gonna bring you back here after a few months."

Mihlali : "what was gonna happen with school? I was gonna change it again? No y'all not fair mama."

Khanyisa : "I'm sorry baby."

Mihlali : "UKhokho uNkomo said I'll be going back to school next year and start my matric year properly next year."

Khanyisa : "okay. We have to drive past the chemist for some painkillers when we go."  Mihlali clears her throat.

Mihlali : "I'm staying with mama and baba , I'll only be visiting you and tata."  Okay? I look at my wife and she's looking at Mihlali. Mihlali walks out after that.
