I was on twitter seeing the media basically covering Y/N because she was once again trending and the thing is she wasn't even on social media or made any moves to trend. Y/N was currently trending because a video and a photo of Y/N getting off of her flight in Atlanta surfaced and she just didn't look good. you can tell it was something with her. Which of course with everything going on that was what was wrong.
She just headed to the SUV and got in as that was the end of the video and the media captioned it "Y/N's first appearance out since the allegations of her being a victim of being in a physical and sexual abusive relationship with her ex." I read as I just felt myself get angry all over again. I clicked out of the tweet made by "gossip news" and started seeing different tweets about Y/N and what has happened to her really divided the internet. Majority of everyone was in support of her but then there were some men and women attacking her.
For instance there was a lot of men blaming her for what happened to her on her because they felt that's what she deserved because of the type of man she was with. Which in my opinion it don't fucking matter because he had no business placing his hands and doing what he did to her period. There was alleged old classmates of hers who were coming forward and speaking up about the issue saying they suspected something was off about Jevon and Y/N's relationship but because she was always such a fun girl who smiled and joked around they had no idea.
I refreshed my feed seeing a new video of Maya speaking out on her Instagram story. I clicked on it beginning to listen to it. "When I tell you I have been trying to reach out to her for about a month and a half about this situation with my ex and she didn't answer not one phone call. Everyone from Beyoncé to rihanna place her up on this high pedestal like she's for all women and the truth is she's not" she started off as I just paused the video feeling myself get pissed because Y/N really put everything on the fucking line for this girl just to receive this back.
"And the most mind blowing thing out of all of this is she's a black woman acting like this towards another black woman when we supposed to protect each other because we know ain't nobody else going to do it. But because she's in a better space, she's making money, she got her man she thinks she doesn't have to do anything" Maya explained.
"But I'm sure her publicist will come out with some bullshit ass statement and you all will forgive her just like that" she started off "I just want justice for what was done to me and to have Jevon in jail so he can stop" she admitted as I just stopped the video shaking my head. This woman was really dragging Y/N's name and her character for what? Y/N never dealt with her like that for her to even be like that.
I went out of the video sending it to Y/N then started making a tweet. Once I typed my tweet I posted it and went out of twitter because all it was going to do was piss me off further . Something felt off about Maya and I always felt like that but I don't know if moving to Atlanta was a smart move for Y/N. I realized she didn't text back about the video so I texted her instead.
Me:can you talk?
A couple of minutes later I felt my phone vibrate in my sweats as I was heading upstairs to my room about to get ready for bed after my day out which consisted of me working out and on set for "Raising Dion".
I grabbed my phone seeing a text from Y/N pop up on my notifications.

She texted back as I immediately FaceTimed her phone and she answered on the third ring.
"Hello?" I answered "you do know it's like one o clock in the morning over here right?" She asked. "Oh just call me back later then" I suggested. "No it's fine I can't sleep anyway" she admitted. "You need to because you look horrible" I joked looking at her puffy face and red eyes. "At least some sleep will get me right" She shot back as I made a face causing her to laugh some. I just faintly smiled "You seen the video I sent you?" I asked "yeah" She admitted. "Why are you doing this for her? Do you feel like you owe her for something?" I asked.
"No I just want to finish what I should've finished a long time ago and that's making sure his ass goes to jail and he stays in there. I'm not worried about Maya she will get hers. I'm worried about the next woman and the woman after that and the woman after that." She explained. "Mike I can't let that happen because all it's going to be is a continuation just different women and that's more trauma and more baggage Black women have to endure when they shouldn't" she said as I nodded.
"I'll be okay" she said with a faint smile. "Are you scared?" I asked. "Yeah. I'm afraid of not being involved and he gets to do what he does to other women, I'm afraid knowing every specific detail of what was done and said to me is being put out into the world but most of all I have this feeling like Something is going to happen" She explained. "To you?" I asked confused "yeah" she admitted. "Like what?" I asked as she just shrugged "I don't know after you texted me that video I just have a weird feeling" she said as I just walked into my bathroom turning on the light.
"Munchie come home if you're feeling like that" I instructed shaking my head. "It could just be me mike" She said just brushing it off. "I seen your tweet" she brought up "not you letting them get to you" she added. "Hell yeah" I started off.

"Because they're justifying why a man sat there and did what he did to you" I said as she did a simple nod. "It's apart of being a woman sadly" she admitted as I shook my head. "Don't let them get you out of character because right now that's what everyone wants." She admitted as I started my shower. "Yeah but that's easier said than done" I said beginning to take my shirt off.
"You talking to another guy yet?" I asked curious as she let out a small laugh. "Michael if you want to go date, go date" she said in a small laugh. "That's not why I was asking. so you're talking to a guy?" I asked. "Bye Michael" she said "no it's a serious question" I assured. "It's not" she said as I chuckled. "It's been a cool little month I'm sure someone is making you smile on that phone" he teased. "Well no I've been feeling like Shit for the past month." She informed "same I was listening to Drake earlier" I admitted as she started to laugh which made me smile.
"Drake?" She asked As I nodded "Get off my phone" She said through a laugh as I chuckled. "Call me whenever you need me, I'll catch a flight out there as soon as possible" I assured watching her smile. "Okay" she agreed with a small smile. "I'm serious Y/N. Anything that feels off call me" I honestly said.
