"I think James is coming down with a fever." Jane said as she crawled into bed;
"Is he okay?"
"Yeah, he would be fine..."
I lied down next to her and with my arm over her I pulled her towards me.
"It's been such a long day...." She yawned.
She was clearly tired since she fell asleep immediately.
I smoothed my hand over her hair in slow strokes, staring at her.
She's so fucking beautiful.
I love Jane, I have adored Jane since the moment I saw her.
Jane doesn't know this but the first time I saw her was actually in front of a bakery, she was just standing there.

I was standing across the street, just watching her.
There was something about her that day that had me needing her, and following her home. I never wanted anything or anyone the way I wanted Jane that day, and I married her.
The hard task isn't loving Jane or keeping her happy all the time, the hard task is keeping all these male away from her, she's so fucking gorgeous that every man wants a piece of her,
They all want to have her.
The reason I stopped having friends over was because I hated how they flirted with her, and it's no news she's used to the attention,
She loves the flattery from all these men.
I noticed Jane's phone buzz on the dresser and it just kept going desperately.
I grabbed her phone off the dresser.
My curiosity gets the better of me. Luckily for me, there wasn't a security code that needed to be entered.
I clicked on the call log and found several incoming calls. I clicked on the inbox and searched for old and new conversations,
She had all these men throwing themselves at her and she deemed them all with flirty replies.
I took a deep breath and counted to ten.
Shit! It's not helping
"Are you okay?" Jane dragged me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah... The kids and I are going for a drive."
"Okay....just be back before dinner.." She said and left me to myself.
I had to put up the calm guy facade in front of Jane and pretend like I don't know she cheated on me.
I'd be lying to myself if I say I'm not losing my mind. "Daddy, where are we going?" The boys asked as we got in the car.
"We're going to see Grandma.."
"Grandma G?"
"No, your other Grandma."
"Okay."
I tried to control my thoughts but it's impossible.
"I know, I get really talky when I drink too much wine..." I started giggling as I recalled something really funny, "Remember when we had all that wine at the lakers and we ended up making out on their rooftop."
"Boys, what's the name of the man you and mamma used to live with in Turkey? the police officer.."
"You mean uncle Andy."
"Yeah, was he and your mamma close?"
"Close how? Like Best Friends."
"Like how I and your Mamma are close."
"I guess...."
"Did they share a room?"
"No, mamma slept in the room with us, and uncle Andy slept in the other room." James said.
"Do you ever wake up and not see mamma?"
"Yes, sometimes. ." He said.
"Where does she go?"
"I don't know, Dad. .."
"I like uncle Andy, he's really nice, mamma says we could go visit him." Joseph added. Every word stung, fueling the fire that burned inside of me. Every violated phrase was like gasoline to it, my fists began to clench and my jaw rooted. When the final mento had been added to the coke inside of me I exploded with no control.
I pulled over at Mother's new apartment and she immediately came down to take the kids from me,
"Aren't you going to come in?"
"I will call you when I'm ready to get them."
"Does your wife know you've brought them here?"
I didn't answer and just pulled off onto the road.
