“Y'all ready to leave?” Yaz asked.
I nodded getting up.
“So we're we going?” Jummah asked.
“The ice rink” both Bryson and I said at the same time.
We looked at each other and smiled.
“The ice rink?” Dre questioned.
“Wait, the one your uncle owns?” Chase asked.
“Yeah, the one we always went to play hockey in as kids” Brys said.
“Man I miss that place” Evan said.
“Oh no, ice? I could literally fall and have a concussion” Jummah said holding her head.
“Don't worry there's helmets if you wanna wear them” Evan told her.
“Uh… I don't think I can go Madina” Jummah said looking at me sadly.
I grabbed her hand and pulled her towards me.
“Tell me what's wrong Jaanem (my love)” I said.
“I'm just very cautious, that's all. I can't help it” she said looking down.
There was something she wasn't telling me. I wanted to know, but I didn't wanna push it out of her.
“You don't have to go on the ice if you don't want to okay? Just think about it” I said.
She nodded. “Thanks Madina”
I smiled and kissed her cheek “You'll be fine”
“Ready to go?” Bryson asked when we walked back to our group.
“Yup” I smiled.
“Let's go!” Evan yelled.
“I wish I could grab one more ice cream” Shabana said.
“Bye Betty” I said hugging her.
“Goodbye sweetheart. I'll see you soon” she winked at me then smiled at Bryson.
We all left in different cars. Obviously the guys went with Bryson. And the girls came with me.
I followed behind Brysons car. He even drove fast at moments trying to scare me.
What a guy…
“How long have you known Bryson?” Yaz asked me.
